Keith reminded me of John the Baptist, calling out hypocrisy, but all the time loving the Lord with every fiber in his being. His music had a great impact on me and I read No Compromise many years ago. For those critical of Keith let's remember, he was only 26 or 28 when he died, and had been a Christian for only 7 or so years, he may or may not have gotten all Christian Doctrine correct at that time but there is no mistaking his passion , devotion and Love for our Lord. Nor any mistaking God's hand on him and his music. I look forward to the day I can embrace this brother in glory. Till then brother.

I became a Christian right after kieth died. my girlfiend turned me onto Kieth music, and I fell in love with it, it fed my soul those early years, I was very much like kieth, preaching at everyone, I still do, but looking back I know his theology was not very tight, it was a little loose, just like my was back in those early days, but some how, with Gods help, the theology in his songs were some times felt, as if they were written by a old seasoned soul. thank you for your music kieth, and some day I will meet you.
That’s a great story of how God used Keith to bring you into the kingdom. Keith’s theology wasn’t perfect no, nobody’s is. John Mcarthur’s theology isn’t all that “tight” either. Do you know he basically ignores 1 Corinthians chapters 12 and 14? He’s a very intelligent scholar for sure, but his blind spots are no smaller than any Keith had.

It teaches: * God loved everyone in Christ on the cross * Christ died for everyone * Man chooses his salvation, not God * God is trying to save everyone and His hands are tied as it is up to man's choice.
