They have serial numbers that are recorded in documents and emailed to the consignor. A bit like a seal on a trailer. Should be checked as part of basic load checks whenever changing hands

I'll bet money it's just a matter of time before shipping companies have these banned, if they aren't trying to already.
I believe some shipping companies have been caught opening these and reverting them when they got flipped. That's why you get some now that are a chemical reaction that can't be spoofed.

I dont see their purpose, tho. Most companies do not offer "no tip service" infact your box tipping is gaurnteed. All the up arrows are for is when its in transit from 1 hub to the next
Your shipment should never tip more than a few degrees at any point in transit, usually due to road conditions. These aren't for sending something through the post these are for professional shipments loaded by pallet into trailers. Heavy equipment cannot be tipped or shit gets broke. Hauliers loss all credibility if anything short of a pile up flips the truck on its side tilted the shipments. Logistics is serious business
or just put your keys with the other keys so you dont have to grab your wallet when you need you key it only fits 2 keys i got 8 keys and dont even have a car

I prefer the powder ones, it's built with a reservoir of powder and a piece of adhesive paper. it's far more difficult to temper with and you can see if they took a vertical shock in addition of tilting.

we get many deliveries with those on them, we sometimes get some with angle indicators which tells us if the package was tilted more then 10-15°

I work for a logistics company and I can assure you that they don't give a fuck about your orientation arrows unless your product is a hazardous material.
Professional shipments loaded on pallets shouldn't be tilted more than a few degrees. That's a basic standard of long distance haulage. You gotta be small fry dealing with residential shipping not shipments of equipment or anything over 100k. A customer pays you to ship a 20 ton CNC machine and it tips more than 10° at any point in transit your insurance can easily be paying out 2-10 million. Something like that will obliterate a small LCL or RORO company.
