Absolutely fantastic , thanks for bringing back so, so many memories from a past that I would go back to in a heartbeat. Wonderful music too . Just beautiful.
Wow thanks John, watched every bit of this video, i was born in late 70's, loved growing up in bradford in 80's and 90's, i wish i could go back to them years 😞
ANY BRADFORDIAN SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHERE THEY ARE FROM. I AM BRADFORD BORN AND BRED AND MOST DEFINITELY PROUD OF THE FACT. I HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING BRADFORD CITY FOR 64 THIS YEAR, MY FIRST GAME I WAS 3 YRS OLD WHEN MY GRANDFATHER TOOK ME
I moved up from Bristol to Bradford back in the early seventies. I really liked the place and the people. Bradford optimizes the gritty down to earth Pennine Mill town and the people are the salt of the earth. I was gutted a few years back to find that the K2 Curry House on Lumb Lane had gone.
Brilliant video my husbands a Bradford man we now live in Somerset but get home when we can love the music I love looking at the history of Bradford this is the best one .
Loved the pics of my home town left at 15 due to bad life their it’s changed for the worse so much corrupt it was tearful to watch all the good days gone and never get back love the music to it loved it better if they were singing may Bradford rise and be what it once was ❤
The photo of Grays fisheries is from a well known local photographer called Ian Beezley if i recall. I remember it as a kid, my grandads flat overlooked it.
I'll add, how good was Bradford? What a different place it is now. The city centre was packed, everyday. Queuing 30 or 40 deep to catch a bus home. Foster square with its red tarmac roads!!! So many memories & so many pubs closed down!!
Outstanding. Thanks so much for putting this together. Bradford born 1966. Rcognise so much of this. Much appreciated.
Thank you.
This is just a wonderful collection which brought back some fondest memories of the city.
Thank you so much Mohammed.
Thank you John. Some really amazing photos.

Fabulous collection and some good choices of accompanying music, it certainly chronicles the destruction of a once fine city I grew up in.
Thank you very much Raymond.Appreciated.
A pub on every corner then .... now Turkish barber's or vape shops.. just what the world needs, not.

I think it's more corrupt now Carol, but 80's and 90's it was a lot better than now imo

18:20 my grandparents were the last people to run the Unicorn Hotel. The van was my grandpa's.
Glad you liked it Mandy.
Great story Mandy, I’ll bet your Grandpa could tell some tales of his time there !!
Can't believe how much has changed in front of our eyes. Thanks for upload 👍
I really enjoyed this, I used to work at the Hare and Hounds in the 70s.
Thank you.
And the Crown with Topless Barmaids and a Saturday night Stripper in 81
The Boy and Barroll
Days before the white flight
Only planes fly. Dangerous for people to fly.
A very cowardly move.
@@WillScarlet1991 White people don't like living in filth and squallier and why should they
What white flight? Majority of the city is still white
@@WillScarlet1991Why? You want to bring up your children in safety place you can and Bradford isn't it anymore.
Absolutely brilliant photo collection, thank you for posting this superb video.. so many memories!!!

Its a dam shame Bradford has gone to the dogs. I loved growing up there but I had to leave because it isn't the place it once was. Corrupt council.
Ye nowadays they never do anything and expect people to pay them for what!? For bloody unnecessary roadworks which no one could give a damn about.
spot on
A few nice ones but a lot of shabby old pubs
Great video
Thank you Stephen.
i left Bradford in 71 at the age of 20 & after watching this & seeing how many pubs i'd been in makes me realise what a swill pot i must be lol
Thank you.Appreciated.
Thinking the same...😂
Fantastic. Absolutely loved the pics of Bradford and surrounding areas with really nice instrumental music in the background.
