Caitlin and I figured out how to land N7693W. A week later she did 3 solo landings and got her Private Pilot license at 17 years old!

I had the opportunity of a lifetime on this one. My buddy Mike let me join him in flying a King Air 260 to the Virgin Islands. This flight was conducted under FAR Part 91 for a private owner.

We used to have a bottle of aspirin in my first tower. Someone wrote “Sundowner Strength” on it, due to the flight school that was at the airport. 😂

Who’s the guy in the Flight Design? Funny this should pop up. I’m planning on taking my CT there this weekend from Asheville.
The guy in the CTLS is my dad... also my mom 😅 They are both pilots. In fact he was CFI for both my mom and I! Flying from the mountains to the beach will be an amazing flight. Have fun Bill !!

How do you like the tomahawk? I’m considering acquiring one for my ppl training.
I absolutely love it! I couldn't recommend a better aircraft for PPL. A friend of mine also did his commercial and CFI checkride in it. The plane is very fun to fly!
Didn't know you could carry 2 in the Traumahawk with enough fuel to get from HNZ to BQ1 and back :) Nice video! RFC Rocks! Good briefing on the go round possibility. Good for you and the passenger.
Oh yeah, that little bug smasher is great! Especially in the colder months, it will climb like a rocket ;) I stayed at 3,000ft the entire flight and only burned 4.5gal per hour over a 2 hour flight.
