It's amazing to me that they have pops of characters that haven't been on TV in 40 years. Are there people in their late 50s collecting these things. The Banana Splits was a Saturday morning show from the 70s.

Always going to be fans of Star Wars ... (Please see world class bullshitters channel) . The stores are full of Star Wars stock for the new films as modern day kids dont want it, they are into Marvel and superhero's.

Funko pop's will loose their value, they have no nostalgia or play values associated with them to connect people to them in 10-20 years time. The TV / Film properties they are associated with will loose favour as time passes and new films are released, they are a deformed take on a licensed character at best. Lots of collectors like myself also don't like the aesthetic style of the faces, wierd eyes and disproportionate body to head ratio of the figures.
