My my anxiety is going crazy dude got the brake caliper just dangling
Brandon that you 😂
Very helpful, hopefully you can answer but when you pulled out the axle from transmission, did fluid come out as well? I didnt see a drain pan so thought maybe it wont leak any
I know the panic you felt. Same thing for me when putting it in reverse. Thanks for sharing.
Is bumper the only way to take off the headlights cover??
I unbolted the differential bearing retainer (metal disc around the axle with 6 bolts) when removing my driver side cv and one of the bolts snapped going back in and fluid leaked out while driving. I reseated it and tightened down the other 5 to spec. Doesn’t seem to be leaking. Should I just leave it? How fucked am I?
5:00 basically I pried between the retainer and the transmission box instead of between the axle and the retainer. I did it gently and from multiple points because I was worried of damaging the aluminum mating surface.
Awesome info bro, I’m getting ready to go do this ina bout 5 mins as soon as I get my work britches on. UPDATE: successfully changed the water pump and this is what I found out. It was extremely difficult to remove the cooling fan on my vehicle, I could not jam or hold it stable enough to get the nut loose, so I looked at the new fan and noticed it come with a new pulley, so I drilled a hole through the pulley big enough to stick a screwdriver in it, jammed it up and broke the nut loose easily on the fan and then changed the waterpump
That’s awesome glad you got it fixed
Which way do the connections turn right or left?
Right to left
I’m attempting this today. How long did the entire job take you?
2hours
2hrs
Do you have success doing it that way?
