Tthis bike has not run for over 20yrs ,the last 10 the bike sat out in the open beside a shed.I have cleaned points and replaced all carbi parts to make sure engine runs ok before dismantling from frame to start restoration. As you can see bike is stripped down to bare minimum to have motor running but was 100% complete and was given bike for nothing but it appears motor is ok as was worried abo...

I have now owned my mottoguzzi v7 classic for nearly 2 years and have covered just on 14,000 klm,s.Only issue has been the cheap indicators where 3 have fractured and were replaced under warranty but could not get to replace rear ones to match so did myself. Other than that has been great. Another alteration I soon will do when out of warranty will be to put small indent in balance pipe can ist...

This video is the reason I bought a 2010 v7 classic...
OMG that sound!
good to see a runner. I have 2 engine units, incomplete, maybe useful still.
Than just s but sold the bike last year as frustrated with constantly trying to repair .taper for flywheel badly worn after an engine failure. New crank bearing came apart. Later models used a solid crank pin with needle rollers but difficult to find so stuck with earlier designed bearing that pressed in but had much smaller crank pin but was the new bearing that failed
that's the proper sound !👍
Wear any leather chaps or Levi's jeans with the bike?
Is that what gets you off,Sam?
Having trouble working out the hand brake to the rear hub.I'm wondering if you could send me a pic of the rear hub. How the cable attaches to the 2nd arm? I'm hoping to get the '30 three speed going. help wanted thanks.
I sold the bike last year but have many photos and diagrams if needed as well as some publications for that model. Biggest headache was taper on flywheel being damaged and getting a decent piston barrell after damaging my good one when a brojenwasher got sucked up a transfer port
I love the sound of the Staintune over the Mistral. What's the cost to out fit the V7 Classic? This is the exact bike I have and I'm thinking of this modi.
This is how exhaust sound vids should always be. Dynamic vids, with engine under load, no stupid static acceleration... Nice thanks
That sounds sweet . . stock pipes?
Sounds great! I wish they could make my beemer sound that good!
BRUTAL sound, love it!
wow. ya all is right when you hear that music
Moto Guzzi and wide open spaces of Australia, what a dream!
that sounds very sweet. how many miles had it done ?
Yes very nice sound, just meant that other videos of guzzis drown out the awesome guzzi note with crappy music! Thanks for the great video & nice bike mate.
What are you talking about? This video is full of lovely music!
Very nice & thanks for not putting music to the vid.
Ian the 28 sounds great. I am still working on my byke. I need some advise but my Computer got a Virus and I lost all my Contacts. Could you please contact me at lpjackson@sympatico.ca Many thanks . Les Jackson
Ian I have lost your e-mail address. I would like to contact you. I need some advise on my 1928 Bsa 1.78 hp. my email is lpjackson2sympatico.ca
Staintune or Mistral?
I've watched this video so many times thanks so much, sounds great! Saving for a 2012 v7 stone
got any more pics after the restoration sounded good
This is going to be my 'first' bike after I learn to ride on an inexpensive bike. It sounds awesome when it is accelerating away from you! It also looks great.
Hey bro beautiful bike..
A symphony! Staintunes improved my VFR's sound beyond belief, but that Guzzy sounds even better (which is a pretty big call I.M.O). Great job on the recording.
Sounds great.........gotta like that V-twin note with the staintunes...!
How do you like the bike? Do you feel it has enough power or HP? I have the Griso 8v it's an animal but the V7 is my favorite bike
Very nice pipes. I wish this video was longer. The country roads with you riding back and forth give a beautiful sound as you pass by the camera. The sound is addicting. I will be purchasing a V7 cafe Classic in the next few months and the Staintune pipes have me hooked as to what exhaust i will install. The mistrals just don't sound as good as yours. Happy and safe riding to you.
very nice bike(: I own a bmw r90/6 out of 1976 you can clearly see the design has been taken from that time
Sounds proper.
Beuty!!! I have the Griso 8V it's a monster but I really love the V7 wish they made a 1000cc version like the old ones
That sounds awesome.
Sweet music!
Sounds good, similar to my old GT750 Duke with contis. I wish Ducati would bring out a round case retro like Guzzi have done with the V7.
@iantheo1 i think the hp will be enough too. Few years ago i owned a Kawa ZRX1200S omfg that thing was a blast. It was like day and night cause before i had a BMW F650...but the times of speeding are over to me. We all get older and a bit wiser?lol...yesterday i was by the Guzzi dealer and had a first touch on the V7, wow...in the vid´s she look´s a bit bigger. But all fits and she seems to be a nice one. How the suspension works with 2 people? Sorry for spelling... Kleofaz
49hp are not that much. But it doesn't look underpowered...i will go today to the nearest Guzzi dealer. I like this bike so much...
16^ cel...a beauty of a motorcycle...and an amazing sound! I wouldn't need more to be happy. 5Stars...
Man.... ....no Ninja can ever beat that!
omg dude !! awesome pipes !! now i want a v7 !! lol u jus made me wanna take my v-star to australia ! nice cruising roads ! the best of luck to you !
This is one of the nicest sounding motorcycles I have ever heard!
AWESOME!!!
Beautiful Bike Bellissimo!!! I have the Triumph Bonneville probably would have bought this if I saw it first..
Wow, that bike sounds fu***ing awesome. Does it add any extra power?
Nice pipes. I'm gonna save up and get some for my v7 Classic!! Thanks for the video !!
you're riding on the wrong side of the road!
@choopdewoot Underpowered and loud? 180Kgs is loud? did you ever tried one? I can assure you'll remain surprised. @iantheo1: the exhausts look quite nice and sound very good! I would buy a couple for my Nevada but it seems that in Italy they are quite quite expensive!
Mate that sounds and looks kool, like it alot.
I was wondering cause im really thinking about trading in my Bonne for one of these. Can you gut the stock muffler? just curious.
very nice
Very nice! Really lets one hear the bike....Thanks.
