You are definitely a realtor. You equate list price with quality of life. I'd rather live in Lakewood with its' access to the lake and their metro park entrance, 2 public pools, Lakewood Park, a plethora of quality restaurants and bars, a great library, Beck Center for the arts,etc.

Great video. I grew up in N Olmsted and returned after I started a family. It’s a great place to live and is an easy commute to so much. Don’t forget the metro parks Rocky River Reservation which is in our city. This is a great asset too!

Lived in Brunswick from 1985 to 2002 in the Coventry Estates subdivision. Sold our home there and moved to Medina, living there until 2010 when we moved to Texas. Really miss Ohio and Medina County, a great place to live.

Regarding Brecksville schools, I’d encourage research into their willingness to provide an IEP to those who learning challenges.

I'm from cleveland and all this list is a list of the most affluent cities in town. This dude basically did very little here with this list. Anyone from cleveland will tell you Lakewood Oh, is the perfect balance of affluence and normalcy. The 2 best suburbs in Cleveland for cost of living and fun are Lakewood, Oh., and Cleveland Hts. All the rest of the towns listed have very very high costs of living and extremely stuffy residents...Not that it matters but PP and Beachwood are both extremely Jewish Communities and have residents with insane amounts of cash...No thanks.

I'd love to see you also focus on east side suburbs, if possible... it seems like Cleveland real estate videos always focus on the west and the south but miss out on featuring some of the beautiful suburbs that are affordable to the average Clevelander to the east (Willoughby, Mentor-on-the-Lake/Mentor, etc.)

I was born in Berea and moved to California when I was 9. So many childhood memories. We would ride our bikes on the college campus, and all over the neighborhood. I plan to move back for my elder years. I miss the fair, my family, the lake, 2nd, and Pearl Street where a lot of my loved ones used to live. I came back at 21 and stayed for 4 years. I will be look to move in back home in about 10 years if God willing.

As with most real estate, its all about the location and the details. That area is on the near west side which is the right armpit of Cleveland. The yard backs up to a 4 lane main road and the highway so you always have noise and that whole area has been on a downward slide since the late 90's. Not to mention the amount of $$$ needed to rehab that place to make it habitable because of asbestos and lead paint.

I went tp Mayfield high in the 80's. I am gay and all gay people ended up in Lakewood in the 90's. it seemed EVERYONE was gay. There were so many gay owned businesses and gay bars. The whole Clifton strip was gay. I moved to phoenix almost 20 years ago from Lakewood so I do not know how it is now. All my friends at the time moved to Columbus which became the new gay area. I had some great times in Lakewood! Crazy times.
