I'm guessing this is not a one person operation. In other words the person in wheelchair could not do this by themselves?

Well, this one requires an assistant so it's a little like how paramedics have a skidded chair. During first year Engineering, we had to do a design project and one group did a stair climbing wheel chair that was similar to this with an inclined track on the back but for a hendicap user to use themself without a helper. During their presentation, in the Q and A, I asked "But wouldn't this leave them on their back at the top of the stairs?" and they answered, we were hoping that no one would notice. The elevator and chair lift can be used by a person by themself but this solution requires a helper and preferably two. For my mother, we used a travel chair for this in a similar fashion but labourishly lifting it up step by step.

I'm wondering if the limited room at the top of the stairs makes it more difficult for the person behind the one in the wheelchair to get them upright and still get the person trapped between the wheelchair and the wall out of the way. It looks like it could be difficult to get the wheelchair far enough away from the stairs to keep from knocking the wheelchair down the stairs.

Top of the fuel filter is a flat head screw. Crack it and let the air out. The port y’all keep opening on the fuel filter is for the fuel inspection. Basically so they can test it for water and it’s not helping you prime the system.

I recently just purchased this electric stair climbing wheelchair and it seems as if it will serve my purpose very well. I also have a similar non power version and it works just fine with the exception that it is only made for going downstairs only. I feel that by purchasing this electric stair climbing wheelchair it will be cheaper than building a handicapped ramp.

This is an EMS and FIRE DEPARTMENT stair chair. It is a proven piece of equipment used every day to safely transfer people up and down steps.

Really is it worth it? You can't raise the vehicle that much and so you'll be having to sit on a seat to do anything underneath.

I just got this mobile lift today. I find it very, very, very hard to manuver it. I follow all the steps and i still have to put on so much force to hold it down tilted, it feels way more than the 20 pounds you mentioned. And when going down hill, I have to literally hold it so much like I'm carrying the entire thing. I would appreciate any tips on how to work this. Its a huge necessity in my house.
