How to Remove Pockets! o.O
zhlédnutí 181Před 3 lety
I have just been made aware of something that I did not notice, but which I believe needs clarification. In my current video, I ask myself why I am doing this video at all, since the act of tearing out a pocket actually turns out to be rather straightforward in practice. This question should NOT be interpreted in such a way that I ask myself why anyone cannot do this on their own, because after...

Sewing a 500 year old patchwork cushion. In a minute.
zhlédnutí 119Před 3 lety
Out of curiosity, I reworked the famous (?) Impruneta cushion. And made a stop-motion film out of it. The pillow is considered to be one of the oldest examples of European patchwork and was placed under a bishop's head as a burial object in Italy in 1477. It was only found after World War II when the sarcophagus was damaged in a bombing raid. What's so special about it? This pillow is a unique ...

Excellent tutorial - thanks! I turned trousers into breeches for Morris dancing.
This enabled me to turn vintage much-too-large trousers into my first knickerbockers-and they will not be my last! Thank you very much! (I had to slim down the waist first, and for that I followed the tutorial by Vintagebursche about plus fours.)
Did you make this?
This is incredible - thanks for posting it!
Thanks! We gotta spread the knickerbocker style & keep it alive!
Geil. Ich liebe sowas. Der wandernde Stern is genial =)
In The Netherlands we call it a blazer too 😉
Very good to know 😄
Thank you! I made 2 pairs and added 1 additional my set which allows me to keep my large Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone in the pocket vertically.
Upcycling the blouse is such a genius idea! I have a shirt that is waaay too small for me, but I keep it for sentimental value. I think upcycling it to a pocket would be a great way to keep and honour it. Thank you for the tip!
My pleasure ❤️
Yay! I can't wait to see the rest!
Wonderful intro to historical pockets! Thank you so much!
Very well explained! Thank you. I especially liked learning what to do with seam allowances and shifting just so to make it perfect.
I find it incredible pleasing for the eye when you do the close ups! Thank you for this video!
Great tutorial, gonna try with one of my old trousers!
Thank you! Can’t wait to see it!
Awesome tutorial! Thanks so much for posting!
This is great, I love the complete modernization of the idea with compartments and I especially love the plaid buttondown. Who doesn’t have one of those kicking around to contribute to the cause?!
This is very cool! I love the internal compartments!
The book is already on my wish list. :)
“I don’t want my keys to scratch my phone or vice versa” Your phone must be a Nokia 3310 then, no other phone has the power to scratch keys 😂
I have Chuck Norris’ old phone ;)
