Best player Les Miles ever recruited and developed. His high school scouting report said he was not a good tackler and that he could be a great receiver. Les miles said screw that we’re gonna play you at corner and teach you how to be the best tackler ever. PP figured it out immediately and has enjoyed a long incredible career in the nfl cuz of it. I did not like Les Miles at Lsu cuz of his offensive philosophy but his ability to instill defensive fundamentals was incredible.

Really made the number 7 jersey something to be proud to wear. He was one of the greatest DBs and all around players not just at LSU but ncaa football period! Guy had some of the most spectacular plays ever and seemed like a man amongst boys.

I watched this video damn near everyday my senior year of High School for hype. Almost 10 years later and PP is still in the league and made a great career for himself. I love to see it!!

There are so many great things I want to say about this team. I know that im a bleeding purple and gold LSU die hard fan and have been for 42 yrs. This was the greatest team that I've ever seen. We beat 5 top 5 teams and had to play BAMA for the national championship. Which I think shouldn't have happened. We beat BAMA at BAMA. 6-9 and they wanted so bad to see the rematch. But I'll say this, God I hate saying this. The BCS was 100 percent right. They were the best 2 teams that year. Savannah changed his game plan and Les didn't. Hell it took LSU 5 days to make it home. BAMA fans painted a 50 yard line on the intestate and LSU couldn't figure out how to get passed it. Ok maybe that's a bad joke. I wonder how many titles the LSU fighting tigers would have now is Nick wouldn't have left. I'm not knocking Lee miles. I got to meet him and he's a straight forward guy. Don't play 100 percent and you Will ride the bench. Geaux tigers!!!! I hoping that I'll get to see one more Heisman trophy winner agin. R.i p. Billy Cannon. You will be missed. I'm so glad I got to meet him and Paul, and Warren Rabb. One of my best couple of days. I was hoping Lenard would be able to do it. Patrick Peterson is an amazing corner

Okay, for the uninformed. Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu are nowhere close to being the same type of player. Hell, they don't even play the same position. Mathieu was a nickel back at LSU. He now plays free safety in the pros. They look the same? Ha why? because Tyrann Mathieu copied all the shit that Patrick Peterson wore and changed numbers? I mean I guess they're the same size and all right? Not close. Tyrann Mathieu is about 5'8" on a good day and weighs about 180. I've stood up next to him and I'm 6'1" and he came up to my shoulder. Patrick Peterson is about 6'1"-6'2" about 220. Patrick Peterson is a cover corner. Tyrann Mathieu tries to be a ball hawk. Patrick Peterson was ONE of the best corners to come from LSU, but as far as the best, MoCo takes that crown in my opinion, my friends. If you disagree then you should probably go back and watch what he did at LSU. Never the less, they were some of the greatest players to ever come out of the glorious college that is LSU. I bleed purple and gold and will until the day that I die.

in 2 - 3 years lsu will be the best team in the nation and rule the college football world breaking records that never could be thought broken. they will be so good nick saban will leave the field crying as we beat the tide by 4 possessions. beware of the sleeping giant at LSU. it will awaken in 2-3 years. fear that year...
