Took a short drive to Redding Motorsports Park to race with the West Coast Outlaws! It was a great day, We were down a crew member so i was not able to film all the other cars but i got some footage for you guys! They did not end up getting to run the final round due to rain.

This is so cool!! The only change I would make based on my personal tastes is having the rear wheels have more of the " old school " style like the front ones do.
I agree. I would rather have the vintage style rear wheel but our rules won’t allow it. We have to run a SFI certified beadlock wheel. Takes away from the look unfortunately.

Who's pistons and connecting rods do you run? Is the block a 392 or 354?
The block is a Donovan 417 based off the 392. We run JE pistons and GRP rods. There is another video posted of the engine breakdown.

AA/FA's are near & dear to my ❤. In the Spring of 64', I bugged my Dad enough for him to take me to Irwindale Raceway, in So Cal, for a 8 TF, 8 AA/FA headliner. That race hooked me...HARD. Have been racing since licensed in 74'...currently running a 70' Duster in the Heritage Series. Hope you can make CHRR 2023, and March Meet 2024, and beyond. AA/FA's 4 ever ✌😎.
Is the BBC 540 cubic inch ? Bigger ? Smaller ? Secret ? Beautiful Car none the less. Did you have it built for a specific class ? or is this a N/T or Grudge/Outlaw car ? Are you running the TH400 as a 2 or 3 speed ?

Spent the day yesterday mocking it together for the local car show week, I have a video coming out from some of the last work we did on it getting the engine finally mounted and a bunch of welding and other stuff soon!

Well you know... a bit of commentary would be good here. Like oh, I don't know, what did you learn about the car, what was time & speed, all the foot times, you know, just... stuff. 😛 Good looking car for sure.
Well, if the time and speed was allowed to be told I would have said it, note the N/T on the window…………. there was issues with this car and the no time stuff so I have to be very picky with what information I actually put out that is why it is so limited, maybe I’ll just make a note in the video next time.

Track just opened up for us for the year, got the nova out last night for a few test passes so I got some footage of all that, it was a thrash trying to get it running to load it so hopefully I can put together something decent out of it, I also have another panic workday video coming before that

Rex is the man in his RV8. Splitting the Craig’s at .37 seconds is an exciting run. Rex flew me through it back in 2010 I believe. Shasta is a great spot to fly. Good job Rex.

That’s Rex Daniels flying his RV8. I’ve been in that back seat. He’s a very skilled pilot and builder in Redding Ca. If your thinking about building an RV he’s the guy to talk to. The paint scheme on his RV is unmistakable.
