I think Phos' vision of themself here are from Cinnabar's memories of old Phos, since they fused with Cinnabar's mercury. And even the feeling of thinking they used to be cute might be from Cinnabar, too.

Aint no way mannn Phos losses themselves and as well a shot where they woke up with Lapis head?? Those r honestly my favourite moments from the manga!! As both these moments were genuinely memorable, I still remember that Phos also wanted to send Cairngorn to the moon 😭😭😭 That was honestly insane but what is even more *insane* is seeing these scenes being animated, HNK fandom is really lucky to have you, your animations are quite accurate with the artstyle and brilliant! ✨
