Just installed this one the 2024 Tacoma. I think the main cover roll needs to be 1” longer (wider, meaning the hollow beam at the bulkhead). The two tracks inserts into the hollow beam but if they are fully inserted, the lips are overhanging the inner edges of the truck bed tops. Hope this makes sense

I luckily found one of FB market place for $200. Thank god! What a pile of dung. So glad i didn't waste $700 new. Made like chit!! Leaks like kurt cobain. Hardly even worth the $200. Avoid this brand, unless you find it super cheap on marketplace.

I purchased a gator eFX hard folding cover. Only one rail has the fitting for the drain. Is that mistake from the mfg?

How do you change the corner piece on the cover

Pre assembling the lock stops and clamps makes more sense then your other videos where you just insert the nuts first. Im on the fence between this and a hard fold or roll cover 🤔

I’ve had other tonneau covers on my trucks. I never under why when installing the clamps they have you put the bolt heads up? I always faced mine down inside the bed of the truck for added insurance that there is no way the bolt heads could put a hole in the tonneau cover.

Can you close the tailgate without opening the cover?

I thought gator roll up vynl covers had a 10 year warranty

Yea it’s a inch to short people. It says 5’8” when it really needs to be 5’9 or 10 to be completely honest. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for days now and costumer service just says someone will reach out soon. Ok

You didn’t mention nothing about the installation of the tensioners. How to put them in to make sure you put them in right what setting they should be on and how that should be determine information that should be added to your video.

Erks me that this is such a thing still to this day. Sad after buying a $800 cover I had to buy storage containers so nothing gets wet back there.

This video was excellent. The written instructions are horrid. Either take the written instructions and throw them away and simply send this link - or fire the tech writer and start over.

Nice video, I have one of these coming for my Tundra this evening. I will definitely try the loosest setting for the cover first. That makes sense. You wouldn't want to start with the tightest and stretch it way out and then not ever be able to make it tighter

If i don't use the stop latches is that still going to work?

How do you remove the cover to replace weather striping?

How strong is this cover vs the tri fold cover against thieves?

Is there a seal under each rail and if so does it have adhesive on both sides

Great tutorial, mine came without instructions but no worries!! Definitely had to modify my drop in liner a bit, and a little free-all for the clamp bolts, but it looks and works great!

But if you put a drain tube to your bed and don't have a bed drain the water will just sit there

Pretty good video besides the fact that it’s only 6 nuts instead of 8. Not sure if the video can be edited for that. It’s a lot of work to do to take it all apart and take 2 nuts back out.

Never buy this cover. Customers service is worst I have found in decades.

Very difficult to return. Make sure you order the cover you will be stuck with. 30 day return strategy is keep you on hold or promise to get back with you until 30day expires. I guess I'll toss it in the pit for new garage. Less fill needed. Run from this company

How do you trouble shoot when you have a problem with latching

The middle panel doesn't look like it has a securing mechanism to keep it from being easily pried up, is it pretty tight to to bed like the others?
