great video and love the build. I built out my own by myself but it's a smaller 2008 144 SWB Sprinter, an ex postie van that is of course red. Love the idea of the bed lift but wouldn't work in mine as the roof isn't high enough, I'm 5'1 and can just stand upright in it. cheers

Excellent!!! The deer are pick pockets and bag snatchers too. We had a map taken and eaten out our back pocket and a plastic bag full of rubbish we had hanging on the pram got taken and eaten. 😂 The deer will sometimes bow to you too. Funnily enough in 3 visits to Osaka we still haven't been to the castle. 😂 We did go to nearby Himeji castle though. You had a great day at Fushimi Inari considering itnwas golden week. There was nobody there. Amazing! When we went it was as crowded AF. 😂 If you have 5 minutes you can see how bad it was in my Fushimi Inari video. We bailed about halfway up. 😂 But at least we had cheesecake. Oh, watching further ahead, you were up there before 9. Good move. The middle of the day sucks for crowds. We really have get out if bed earlier. 😂 Your bamboo forest experience was similar to ours though. Another brilliant video guys.

Terrific video. What a top spot. We were slightly north of there one winter. It really is a winter wonderland. Unless you get hit by a blizzard. 😂 We were driving across Hokkaido once and a 3 hour drive turned it to 8 hours because of a snow storm. But going up a ropeway and having hot noodles after a hike through the snow is priceless. Great stuff sand vanners!!!

I do have chains for my boots! They work too lol. WOW! Wonderful hike there❤

That was cool. I lived in Japan in the 80’s. The Nara deer are a bit aggressive but reminiscent of some of my ‘Roo encounters in Oz. I visited Osaka several times and never saw the 1000 Torris. I’m planning to RV Europe in about a year and really enjoy your travels.

Brilliant stuff. You really showed how you can get away from the touristy and crowded places in Japan. It is amazing how you can get right out in the rural areas and get mobile reception. We found that in Vietnam too. Makes Australia look third rate. We visited a sketchy suspension bridge like you did. A traditional vine bridge constructed using traditional techniques fully supported by traditional concrete and traditional steel cables. 😂 Beautiful video. Loved the waterfalls and the river gorge.

Were you allowed to swim? That water looked so beautiful “ no one ever regretted a swim” 😂😂. We live on the south coast of NSW aus I swim all year round and I actually can say truthfully “I have never regretted a swim 🥰” 😂.

Those beautiful falls and pristine water was so worth the trek! Can't get over the beautiful colors of the water, it IS a shame you didn't bring your swimmers. I'm betting if you'd swam Anatural there would have been a tour group coming through 😂 Yes, that park up did look like a refuge camp, I wouldn't have stayed either. Im sorry to tell you my research discovered 47 types of snakes in Japan, 4 venomous, but most negative interactions happen at night. I don't see you two traipsing through after dark. Great video guys. Sandy I have to say that listening to the water and feeling the cool rush of air that the waterfalls create is so so lovely. It’s beautiful to see the water so clear and able to appreciate the beauty of under the water aswell as above it. You’re braver than me walking on those paths and steps lol. Hi-ya Sandy and Tim It seems you are right place for fewer PPL on the hiking trail tranquility is all yours... oops as you mention some part of the trail may not look like existing. no wonder nobody hiking ticks? hahahhahah it says warning/watch out for wildfires 4:40 wow, it is your reward the color of the water is remarkable 15:17 haha, Sandy desires to go in the water VS. Tim's hesitation is comical Considering the condition of the hiking trail, indeed, I feel perilous, but it is worth to try. Any hiking trail app available in JP? Wow Wow Wow what an amazing place. Not even a paddle? That first park up was not for me, Tim's refugee caption seemed harsh until you showed the rest on the way out then it was so accurate. The second one was much better. We hope to be by a river in our favourite Glen this weekend. Take care.
