Why does the manufacturer make this Click action? Wouldn't it be better to have no Click at all so the thief wouldn't even know if it's set or not? Key will keep all pins at place while lockpick can keep in place only one pin, so if all other pins would just drop back there would be no possible way to open the Lock except with a Key, so why does the manufacturer give the backdoor to open the lock?

Thanks for this video. I found a series 2 in a place where I don’t want to find the owner/possessor. (Reasons) I was thinking about picking and replacing the key but I think I’ll just toss it. Nice tool you are using. If I was a locksmith I’d want one of those.

Guys, please: i need a recommendation for a padlock must be a combination lock (I lose keys) any suggestions for high quality security combi padlock up to $100. budget. I will also take suggestion for a best in class keyed padlock for same $ range but prefer combi. Really appreciate any advices. Thanks so much -nyc-subscriber

Seriously what hard is having the patience for doing this , especially on old/weathered lock . And ofcourse the strain on our arm and hand unbearable . Especially using bobby pins . Just don't ever loose your key .

This is how Jill became "the master of unlocking".

I like how this video allowed me to realize that counter rotation isn't ALWAYS direct counter rotation, but more so just lightening the tension while still retaining some tension to allow it to counter rotate naturally and keep the pins secured that are being set or are set. It's like car tires realigning themselves when driving forward after a turn without directly turning them. For some reason that is the analogy that formed in my head.

Holy mackerel it worked! I was trying to open an empty office cabinet that I was given at work without keys. It was a little different because the whole lock mechanism seemed to come out but then I could easily turn the latch with a small screw driver. I used the 2 paper clip method and I can see how the correct tools would be a lot easier, but then the lock I was working on was probably a very easy lock. This was fun! I can see how it becomes a hobby easily. Thanks!

I have seen people make graphic visuals but they don’t do the rotating too much Justice. This is the first video I have seen that shows the rotation of the pins so thoroughly Thank you

There are cases locks are picked by spaying acid into the lock - is the MCS resistant with such a try as the releases are on top - away from a running acid?

why would you want to show someone how to pick a persons home lock. your house lock should get picked then you would know how it feel.
