Burt and Cal are avid outdoor guys who enjoy fishing, hunting, and the shooting sports. The Connect-Ease product line was developed due to the constant frustrations we had due to a lack of good quality connections for deep cycle batteries, for our boats, ice houses, sump pumps, ATV’s, trap machines and just about anything else that needed a quick, easy, corrosion free connection for outdoor use.
Remembering how to connect and disconnect ring style and the other terminal connections for our electronics and other boating equipment over and over again was just plain frustrating.
This product suite eliminates all the frustrations of connecting, disconnecting expensive electronics from the storing and charging of expensive deep cycle batteries on all of your outdoors sporting equipment from trolling motors to trap machines.
You can use the same battery(s) for any of your outdoor needs, just a quick snap and your equipment and batteries are connected and ready to go.

Best to connect ground last
You did a lot of talking and breathing I don’t follow where you explained how to hook up the wires
Not sure if the commentary or videography is worse.
Great video. I suppose I can use a 36v charger to charge the 36v batteries connected in series while trolling. However, can I also charge all 3 x 12v batteries individually while trolling?
Either correct yourself about hooking the negative to the other side of the circuit breaker or remove the video. What if someone was doing and not watching you actually put it on the other junction terminal?
This motor has preformed very well. Easy to install and almost too fast for my little 11.3 Basstender boat. Smooth and very quiet. Very easy to use. I would purchase it again.
Well I was a waste of 5 minutes. Didn't really show anybody anything except your quick connect system that you're trying to sell
You are a wire stripping machine, I'll give you that!
This is gold😂
Absolute crap video. He confuses more than he helps.
never explaned well.........
This was, at best, an overview video. Hopefully there is an actual “how to” video.
I got a ton of questions. My father-in-law gifted us his boat last fall when he bought his new one. He took the battery out, and I'm left with an octopus of wire leads that I have NO idea where they go. I know most of them are for the bilge, lights, livewell, fish finder, the trolling motor (bow mount), and the starter wires for the outboard. I keep the boat in a storage unit with no electricity, so I need to be able to take the battery out each time I use the boat to charge it. This system looks like it might be the ticket I'm looking for. I'm just trying to simplify it to make my life a whole lot easier. Can I wire the leads for the trolling motor (wiring comes from switch panel at back of boat) into it, or do I need to connect it straight to the battery- it's a deep cycle cranking battery. Thanks!
This video made zero sense! You should show what it's doing instead of assuming it's implied!
Awful video, hook the ground wire up in 3 different spots? Very confusing. This video only serves to confuse the viewer. Better off reading directions and not watching.
*I bought this model for my 14 ft Jon boat. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend love it!!! It pushes my boat with ease ( 2 men 220 each). I would highly recommend this to anyone.*
I used to have 1 battery in my boat to run everything, now Mini Kota will void your warranty on any Digital trolling motor with spot lock if trolling motor battery is shared with anything, they say it can ruin the electronic card in the trolling motor and to charge the battery the trolling motor must be disconnected (unplugged) from circuit. Has anyone else had any dealings with this?
What a mess!
This guy doesn’t tell you shit explain to us exactly what it does I mean I mean that’s great you can check your battery in and out can you hook that tear motor and use the alternator off your motor to charge him batteries while you’re using the batteries for 20 V system I mean come on give us a little more information than what you’re giving us I didn’t put much thought into this can you explain to us where the wires exactly go you got them hooked to the battery charger or the can you come to the alternator do you leave a lot of questions
This is awesome! I’m about to start a boat project soon would love to grab some of these
So where do you install your fuses/Circuit breakers.
Make your own!!! Anderson plugs and 6 awg wire!
Make your own! 2 Anderson plug and 6 awg wire. Simple and quarter of the cost from what they're charging you. I made my own....
Nice commentary but showed nothing about installing the wiring
Make your own, they're charging you to much for a simple wiring system
You did NOT show how to disconnect them!!Q!!!!!!
Great video, what about stereo amplifier cable and trim , Can it be connected to this wires ??
Wat a rats nest of wires .hate to see how the rest of the wiring looks like
Will this work for a lithium-ion battery? I have a kayak with a trolling motor and purchased a 100 amp hour battery that I don't even come close to draining so I wanted to add navigation lights and maybe a fish finder.
I have a 36v trolling motor. I am very new to boats, what size battery should I buy ? I fish probably 3 to 4 hours a day. I just bought those connection. Thanks.

Yo it doesn't make any sense what you are doing maybe if you slow down show us exactly what you're doing instead of telling us what you're doing maybe we will get it we are not speedy kodali understanding how it work
Dude, you’re talking about how great this product and how simple it is and you’re not even talking about what you’re hooking the wires up to as you’re doing it. Is it positive to negative or negative to negative or what. You’re doing something and not describing it at all and we can’t see it. Why bother?
it's best to run all 3 tm batteries the same brand and preferably bought at the same time.
Ha, When do you start explaining?
Thanks for showing how the leads go on a 24volt system like the video title says oh wait you didn’t so thanks for showing how to wire theses fancy plugs your using and telling us what brand they are and where to get them oh wait you didn’t you probably shouldn’t make instructional videos as you have no clue how to do so
do these have fuses in them?
Jeffrey, we have fused (RCE12VB4FK) and non fused (RCE12VB4K) you can find them on our site, BassPro.com and Cabelas.com
@@customercare4976 am I able to run my trolling motor and my fish finder through one of these?
@@icheckraise Jeffrey, if your trolling motor has 10 gauge wire (smaller Trolling motors less than 50 amps.) you can run your fish finder and Trolling motor
You sped over all the good stuff!
What type of connection do you use from the existing submersible sump pump to the batteries/backup?
Well that was a pointless video....
What kind of battery charger do you use when you use two batteries? I have a basement watchdog.
The watchdog charger will charge both batteries and maintain them if the backup system doesn't drain both batteries completely. If that happens c just use a standard charger to charge the batteries back to full and the the Watchdog system will keep them charged while the system is not being used during a power outage.
If you want to get alerts when your charger is disconnected or know your battery voltage from anywhere, check out our Boat Monitoring Kit at rmsensors.com/boat-monitoring-kit/! Cellular connect up to two boat batteries and monitor for water in the hull.
You can get these here connect-ease.com
Thanks for the clear video. Your system works for two 12V batteries connected in parallel, too. WavewalkBoats.com have twin hulls - so it is great to be able to divide the weight of two batteries and balance the boat. Plus, two batteries doubles the amp hours! Motor video here: czcams.com/video/eqp5BEa415w/video.html
Is the cranking battery ground that goes to the grounding block also connected to the high side 36 volt trolling battery, Mine is from factory. I believe it should be on the low side.
Thomas, sorry for the delay, out fishing, if you can send us a picture that would be ideal, Which motor do you use? Some use a positive lead for keying on the motor, but tho\se are usually on the cranking motor not the Trolling motor set of 3. It could be if your trolling motor is a Minnkota Vantage, they use a positive lead for running the motor up and down.
WTF. How to Connect your 24 Volt Trolling Motor with an Onboard Charging System. So how do you do it?
im trying to find the same info
Yeah this video has nothing about how to hook up the batteries, on board charging system and what the spare wire go to…just how easy it is to unhook them.
Awesome... Im a first time boat owner and I had absolutely no idea how to connect my accessories to my battery. This is so simple even I can do it!! Just ordered the 4 lead devise ... Can't wait to install it
I am having the same problem! Definitely going to check this product out right now
Yo do a new video with circuit breaker... like recommend. Plus improve on showing the product.
I like that
What do you have connected to those two batteries together. just the trolling motor?
Awesome system that helps you spend more time on the water!
