The American car companies have screwed the people and are still doing that today. I remember my friends Dad purchased a Cadillac. Pile of junk. It stayed in the shop than at their home. My friend bought a Ford pinto. 30,000 miles it was a pile of junk. Dodge, Ford and Chevrolet only lasted for about 80,000 miles until the Japanese cars came to America.

There is a healthy competition in between the truck manufacturing companies.Each to it's own.

In 2022, I leased the limit model that you see in the video. With a few minor cons, I really like the car. It just turned 14,000 miles. The lease isn't up for another year, but the dealer sent a letter stating they could get me into the brand new Santa Fe for less than what my current lease is. I was planning on buying it out right, and I think I still will. I just do not like the new look, and I love boxy cars. The new Santa Fe does not look like a Range Rover whatsoever. The Range Rover is really sharp looking & the front and back don't look like flat objects. The new Santa Fe is lacking dimensional characteristics in the overall body shape. Also, doing away with the full moon roof, that my model has, is another turn off for me. I think the new Santa Fe looks gaudy, and my style looks more classy... plus it's really fast. The major con in my model, is the stupid wireless drop-in phone charger. It sucks. I still use a USB cord to charge (that won't charge if the car is turned off. Another major con for my lifestyle. On all my Fords, I was always able to charge my phone, even when the car wasn't running).

I thinks what makes Japanese vehicles reliable is their precision in every step of the way. From design to production every step is performed in harmony. The workers are considered part of the family of the whole team involved in the entire process. This makes every employee feel important. They’re not just waiting for a paycheque but also waiting for outcome of contribution.

Surprised they aren't using robotic welding. Also looking at the difference between Japan's worker and the UAW American worker. No wonder Japanese cars are so far superior.
