We’ve stayed at Doc’s for the last 10 years in July. We always rented a park model. When they first installed them they were nice. But, in 2024 they are junk. They are run down and over priced for what they are. The one we stay in had a severe leak this year(2024). Water was coming in the power box and thermostat. It killed the AC. Luckily they had another one open to move us to. But we were away from our family. We want stay there again and certainly not in a park model.

Probably a Great Hammerhead that is catching inshore fish. Super smart, super safe fish.

That’s crazy I live there. Im so tired of the tourists they just leave trash on the beaches also I was there earlier this spring and there was a six foot shark it was pretty cool I got really close on my paddle board he was about 5 feet away

It's the worst campground. Not taken care of at all. Lazy river area very dirty. Grass was so overgrown. Weeds coming thru concrete in pool. Train ride for the family was down, due to maintenance. Main pool closed due to maintenance. Didn't see one person doing anything around campground. On there website they said chocolate weekend. Never seen any activities with chocolate. Don't waste your money.

Warmer weather warmer water makes sharks more active

I live in Chattanooga

Fall Creek Falls is one of my favorite places to camp. That said you really need to be careful about picking sites. I would stay in the D and new C area. The other areas have some good sites but also have many that you simply can not level a rig and the trees are abundant! The management is great but it is a state park meaning they get x amount of resources and needs are generally far greater than funding. They are diligent about upgrades but it is SLOW and steady work.

Is this a pretty typical number of campers for the fall season? FCFSP was recommended by a friend as a possible place to come for landscape photography (I live in Louisiana). I'd be truck camping so showers, water and power would be great to have.

I’m Just curious… I am surprised the military didn’t have your drone geofence locked.

We visited Falls Creek Falls a few years ago and were told that the day prior a young girl had leaned too far over a ledge and fell to her death. After walking some of the trails, we understood why this happened. It’s very dangerous as there is no railing (or wasn’t then) to protect you, especially if you lost your footing. Parents should hang on to their children.

As a Florida resident since 1989, I must agree. DON'T MOVE TO FLORIDA! I came to a small town because I hated living in a big city. Every year, more people move here. It's gotten substantially bigger. I need to move, again... DON'T move to Florida!!!
