Thank you, Delaney. He grabbed a lot of hearts and created such joy. Felt I knew him, wish I had.
Thank you Delaney for recording these wonderful conversations and songs with your Dad. He lives on and through his music, still improving people's lives, getting them through hard times, and for reminding us all to enjoy every sunset. He also lives on through his wife, children and family. I pray he is at peace.
God Bless
I can't listen to this song without crying. it was the first song I heard after I heard the news. I can't even imagine how his family and close friends feel. I am crushed by his passing and I was just a fan. God Bless you Jimmy Buffett!!! You made our lives SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!
Trivia question - Did Jimmy ever write a song call "Let your smooth side show"? Please let me know.
I wanna go where it’s warm… 🎶
I hate this song it’s on repeat at my work it’s annoys the shit out of me
The perfect epitaph for Jimmy! Your music meant a lot to a 46 year old man since I was 14. Thank you...hope there are thousands more in the succeeding generations you touch in their soul like you have me.
He had such a special soul so happy he shared it all with us...and his dogs...
Thanks jb
Jimmy Buffet was a true legend in the music industry and his influence cannot be overstated. He was a master of his craft, and his ability to blend different genres and styles of music was truly remarkable. He had a way of creating songs that were catchy, insightful, and fun, and his music spoke to people of all ages. He was not only a gifted songwriter but also a fantastic performer, and he brought joy and happiness to the millions of fans who attended his concerts. His music was a reflection of life itself, and he had a way of putting emotions into words that resonated with people from all walks of life. It's truly heartbreaking to know that he is no longer with us, but his music will continue to live on and inspire us for years to come. So let's celebrate his life and legacy by singing along to his timeless classics and remembering the good times he brought us. And let's not forget the humor that was also a signature part of his music. Who can forget the classic lines from "Margaritaville": "Wasted away again in Margaritaville, searching for my lost shaker of salt" or "It's five o'clock somewhere"? Jimmy Buffet's music was more than just notes and lyrics; it was a way of life. He taught us to take it easy, enjoy the moment, and never take ourselves too seriously. His music was an escape from the stress and chaos of everyday life, and it brought people together in a way that few other things can. So let's raise a glass to Jimmy Buffet, the best songwriter of his time, and a true icon of the music industry. We will miss him dearly, but his music will live on forever, bringing joy, laughter, and inspiration to generations to come.

This is my favorite Jimmy Buffet song. Truly. ( Jimmy always reminded me of my father - I miss them both )
Still brings all the feels. Thank you Delaney for bringing us these.
I always loved this Dylan tune. So great to hear and see Jimmy and Emmylou singing together. Good reminder to sing while we can.
It was to cool being there in those days
I just found out this evening my brother passed away. We were both huge Buffet fans, but my brother more so than anyone I knew. He would always ask "Do you know where Margaritaville is? It's anywhere you want it to be" Bubbles Up is the song I needed to hear to try to get to sleep tonight, RIP bro. You and Jimmy can now throw a few back in Margaritaville together.
and all the feels at the end. says he's thinking about "the Groove" but ya know he was considering his own mortality.
the joy on his face, y'all!😍 Thankfully Delaney had the inspiration to do these!
This song means a hell of a lot to those of us who were fortunate enough to have a great relationship with their Grandfathers
It got on the AC charts which is fitting but it's among Buffetts brst written tunes he's done which to me this was his saying goodbye it'll be getting close to a year,
Wow my favorite new Jimmy Buffett song never heard that period his voice sounds absolutely amazing not sure what he was doing differently. His vocal prowess was never part of his singing but that was amazing!
I have always loved this song, but then the songs of his I like best are the "unpopular" ones . . .
everyone goes through life thinking about the what if’s and could’ve done that. jimmy lived it. we have a responsibility to put that sprit in the kids today!
Amazing!! love this!
Cant hear this without weeping..
Dad gummit! I know Jimmy is sailing a different sea now but I sure miss him. I can just close my eyes out on my balcony, dream that I can hear the sea, - I live in the Seattle area so thats not too hard, and play my big ol' Taylor Grand auditorium sized geetar - Just mak'n my music for me, like Jimmy sang about back in the A1A days - sometime someone walks by and gives me a wave. I guess I can be an audience of one, and be perfectly happy. Of course playing a gig has its merits - I'm happiest when I'm playing Jimmy's songs, or listening to him on records (yes I said records) - or catching remembrances of seeing he and the reefers back in Cincinnati, anchored up off shore on my cruiser (long gone) "Dancers Dream" (I still have the flag, horn and life preserver ring from her) NEVER should have sold her!. I wrote a song for jimmy one time called "Pacific Northwest Beach Bum" " Fins up! I love and always will, my fellow parrot heads! We have grown older, but not up! Laissez le bon temps roulet!!!! 🦈💖
My daughter's middle name is Delaney after this song. now she's all grown and loves Jimmy's music. She's is my little miss magic. I was quite the parrot head when i was a young buck
