I'm Joni's husband and I am very proud of her and can verify that the surgery was a big success. I would submit that although her energy and endurance are vastly improved (she can actually climb stairs normally now), the only reason she walks faster than me now is because she makes me carry everything.

Don't be fooled into thinking that the "great hospital" this place tries to portray itself as being is the truth. Take it from someone who was an "insider" for nearly 28 years - it's a soulless institution that's obsessed with money, and treats its employees like dirt. They will use you for as long as it's convienient for them, but when you get to the top of your pay scale, they come up with something you've "done" in order to let you go so they can hire someone else more cheaply. It happens all the time. Not saying there aren't some good doctors/nurses there, but management - especially middle management - are not to be trusted. VERY devious people.

To all it may concern : TRUST me , this is ONE place you DO NOT want to work for . They'll use you for as long as they can , and let you go once you get to the top of your pay scale for trumped-up reasons that are complete B.S. so they can hire someone else more cheaply - with the emphasis on "cheap" - so they can "balance their budget" . Not to mention that they'll "forget" to disclose to a potential employee everything that their job will require them to do , and then treat them like the "bad guy" when they take issue with the fact that they were'nt told everything they'd be required to do . And finally , you're sure to be quite a bit more intelligent than many of the individuals who are scraped up from God-knows-where and made your "superiors". Just a friendly warning from one who knows .
