As a lifelong giants fan that lives walking distance from the nevada border, this was a truly sad day and it brought me to tears. Even if i wasnt directly an as fan they were in the same market as the giants so i had some love even still, they were always my second favorite team and my go to al team. As a kid i used to watch the 1989 world series video all the time and it pains me to know there will never be another battle of the bay. A's were my favorite team growing up. My favorite player being Reggie Jackson, along with some iconic pitchers Vida Blue, Rollie Fingers, Catfish Hunter & Blue Moon Odom (who I met a few years back). Years go by, and my son now plays for the Giants. I'm happy he was able to experience the great, friendly "Battle of the Bay" rivalry. His piece of the history is pitching the last out in Oakland, the ball now in my possession. Something we'll always cherish & share with fellow fans and friends. It's amazing how one significant baseball can spark so many memories, and start a myriad of baseball conversations.

Ever heard about the Sacramento Solons Baseball team? Sacramento had a long history of baseball with the Solons, a Minor League team that was founded in 1883. My dad took us to the games in the 1950s & 60s.. The stadium was a beautiful wood structure. Organ playing, hot dogs, and many memories.

Great video, Dylan. Thanks for being there. I was there too and I would have had the same reaction as Gabe did after the game. (Also, that was ball 4 to Daz Cameron! You guys got lucky! Haha) My friends and I have been attending a Battle of the Bay game annually for years now so seeing it leave really sucks. I told my Giants fan friend that I'd go to see the A's play in SF next year with them but I know the matchup won't mean the same to me now.

Life long A’s fan here. I grew up one BART station away. This is a great tribute to these two teams and their history. I was there for the Saturday game that weekend, had to see these two play each other one last time. Wonderful video. Thank you! 💚💛

My first time at the Oakland Coliseum and likely last time! I had a lot of fun that day. I sat at the very top of the in Section 317. The A’s fans were very nice to me and my buddy. I wish I could’ve found you guys and got pictures but I didn’t know the Colosseum very well and it was packed. Still had a blast and it was crazy being a Giants fan in a different ballpark not Oracle Ballpark. I’m pissed I missed the first HR in the 10th (forgot who hit it) because I went to the bathroom between innings. But I got too see Conforto’s HR. Great video as always!!!
