thanks for this, people don't talk about the knowledge test because they took it in highschool. I went yesterday to take the test, was completely prepared besides the bottom half of my permit... When I got the initial permit they were training a new lady and she ripped the bottom half off on me so I thought only the top half was necessary.

From somebody from firsthand experience, it doesn’t matter how many interviews you have you are always going to be nervous and the employers all know this. For everyone job opening today there is usually 32 over on 100 applications and they can only be one higher. I got laid off from Sam’s Club and have been jobless for nearly 10 months now piss poor and destroyed my credit due to not being able to pay my bills. The lied about it and said I voluntarily quit to cheat the unemployment system. I go for my interview in two hours. Wish me luck. I definitely don’t miss them, I was paid $16 an hour for doing 12 different departments, including the coaches and supervisors because they were too lazy to do it themselves.

I currently been working for cvs as a store associate for almost about three years.I’m thinking about switching to being a pharmacy tech to carry on my career since I’m going to school for nursing. I think that would help as far as learning the medication. So far I just been nervous to switch since my pharmacy is always crowded with customers.

I have been a certified tech for 17 years now, I love my job! A high volume retail pharmacy is very demanding, physically and mentally exhausting. Only the strong survive, if you have the right tools, training and support staff it can be enjoyable and rewarding. Not knowing how to resolve issues can make technicians feel incompetent and ultimately a lack of confidence in the field which can have 2 outcomes, giving up too soon or more eager to learn than ever before. A good technician is always learning and growing.

currently on my 7th training shift & seriously thinking about just quitting. i still haven’t had ANY hands on training bc the store im at is severely understaffed so they “never have time” to train me. it’s honestly ridiculous & stressful i’m over it atp
