    all them letter cams are junk only one that ok is the f and most peoples feeling will get hurt but people just wanna sound cool and have that chop but they cause less torque and hp. Bigger is not alway better you float your valves and does not close your valves fast enough at high rpm’s even with bigger springs iv ran them all on my fully built 94 svt cobra and I switched to a high energy comps cam computer controlled and made way more power with a mild cam if your lift and duration and lobe separation is perfect you’ll make a lot of vacuum and killer power your valves can only open so much and so fast it’s high compression and good flowing heads with the perfect cam that makes a real motor people need to understand and will never unless they dyno the car but will say if anything go with a f cam but rest are garbage they are not a race cam

    Replaced oil pump on my Kia 2006 Sportage (G6BA 2.7 lt V6), and "winged it" to an extent. Loosen off the top two A/C 10mm AF bolts about half inch and for the lower two that attach to the upper pan, fully loosen them and if you can remove them out of the way. Reason - the pan has two hollow steel locating guides that protrude out about 8mm, you need to move the A/C compressor forward and off these guides to drop the pan. Also use a small flat blade to remove the auto trans plastic dust cover, if you weren't having enough fun already, its another thing that can get stuck. I used a battery rattle gun to remove the lower pulley fastener, and had a set of single hex sockets for exhaust. I did get lazy and rattle gun loose the upper and lower pan bolts. Greetings from down south, way down south, Australia!

    Yes, the 7-Up Saleen Mustang is real. I’m not sure on the exact number but they built a few of them. I think they did 12 or something don’t quote me on the amount of 7-Up cars that Steve built but they are real. There is also some replicas, but they did originally build 7-Up versions in 1990. Keep in mind there’s far more Saleen Mustangs around today than we’re ever made so you gotta do your research to figure out which one is actually a real Saleen:)

      Hey, I had to re watch my video bc I can’t remember things from so long ago. But it seems that the upper pan should pop off if you have the starter out bc three more bolts are hidden there. Remove the oil filter and the still pan. Hold your mouth just right and it should fall out. If that doesn’t work, just walk away get a snack and try again. This job is not easy and you are saving yourself a lot of money. So take your time👍👍👍👍👍

    might want to think about having 2 pumkins a 3.00/3.25 geared for cruising & 3.50/3.73/4.10 gear for at the track. the Comp Cam XE274HR & Valve Springs might help (but what about your Intake VAC?) if you need More Power, add a 75 to 150 shot of NOS. You can swap to the 87-93 dual exhaust brake lines. This helps if you decide to run tailpipes. I did that on my early 85 and my 83 that had single exhausts. I put a coupler on the brake line where it screws into the brake hose on the right rear side. I screwed the 86-93 brake hose bracket to the floor pan near the center pumpkin. There are 2 holes in the floor in that spot. I bent a pre-flared line and connected the union from the earlier step to the 86-93 brake hose in that new center bracket. I then installed the pre-bent 87-93 brake lines on the rear housing. Here are some part numbers from LMR LRS-2282B center brake hose LRS-2073BRKT brake hose bracket LRS-785437 union LRS-MU1016C pre-bent SS lines for the rear axle You can shop around and find most of these parts cheaper. Some places sell those pre-bent rear brake lines in mild steel for about half the price LMR has. Maybe your 8.8 already came with the center hose. You can drill out the rivets or cut the floor pan on the 8.8 donor car to get the brake hose bracket.

    • @fomobros2207
      @fomobros2207 Před 10 měsíci

      You know, it’s such a ridiculous story I really should have included it in the video. The tag on the 8.8 said it was 2L73. I thought “man that’s too much cow bell. I wanted 3.08’s for eating up the highway” when I was halfway done pulling the rear I decided to double check the ratio and realized someone put 3.73’s in it. Everyone else in the world would’ve ecstatic, but I’m trying to put together a car that’s meant for the highway and occasional road trips. So when I went home to visit Mom and Dad I traded Richard for a set of 2.73’s lol. You can’t make this stuff up. One day I’ll have a fox with 4.30’s a cam that nearly stays open all the time and no exhaust except for some long tubes, but til then I have a mild mustang that goes 80mph in 5th gear at 1800 RPM’s and I’m loving it 🤣🤣🤣
