I was trained to hit area targets at 800m with a fixed sight. Never got how people where so proud of themselves hitting targets with a Scopes.
Notice he did the demonstration without screwing the lid back on the black powder? One stray spark, and...
Wen moms not home
Or powdered nondairy creamer, which is an oxidizer
I like how he's still blowing out the match
im calling bullshit
Light on sign Hummmm the Boss Maybe. So don't blame ya..😂😂😂😂
I have to disagree on the Americans being in cartridges for anyone. No Roberts 6.5x55 7x57 250/3000 etc etc. Still waiting on the precision in 06. I do like Rugers though.. Have or had a good number of them. Good Show. God Bless All
He liked doing the hairspray torch 😂
He might as well find another use for his hairspray…
I am an avid Ruger fan. Countless pistols and rifles are in our gun cases proudly. We bought a little purple SR-22 for my youngest daughter to shoot, and some of my favorites are our GP100 in .357, M77 MKII in 25-06 and 7 Rem Mag, my American Predator in .243, and last but not least my Hawkeye LRT in 6.5 PRC. I would say half of my gun collection are Rugers and still have a few on the want list. My next ones will be a 16" SFAR in .308 so i can surpress it and not be unwieldily and the carbine in 45. Thanks guys for coming on the show and taking about what y'all do.
Very informative podcast once again thank you
Wasn’t that hair spray a weapon in one of the resident evil games?
I'm unwillingly reminded of the time I took Paw's powder horn out behind the smoke shed and pinched a pile of that excitable stuff onto the water in the half-full whiskey barrel and leaned in to light it with a match.... took a few months for my eyebrows and eyelashes to grow back. Thank goodness I wasn't old enough to lose a moustache to my follies, yet. I was only an elementary schooler, ya know. Not even hairs under my arms or in my underbritches yet at the time. But, a respect for the black powder was made, that day. A life lesson was learned that day, as it should be.
When I can get a 22 ARC barrel for less than $400,say in thve $100 to $150 range I'll build myself one for sure since it out does the Valkyrie!!
I miss men like this
Look at the sight / scope hes using. Back then you had to make the accuracy. These days even cheaper sights are better.
oh this brings back glorious memories of the fun we had with a can of aqua net and a bic lighter in the dark!! 😂
Got a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5mm Creedmoor that is, hands down, the best shooting rifle I’ve ever owned. Thanks to Ruger for a great product!
Have had a lot of Ruger’s over the last 30+ years, love their M77’s. Especially 204 Ruger VT model, until burnt out the barrel. Great episode. Thanks 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Just drop your elevation adjustment and your in. Ha
Looks like our high school chemistry class!
Great information!
Guy has no chill
Wasps refer to hair spray ad 'die flammenwerfer'.
He'd enjoy shooting his handloaded ammo even more if he inserted a Primer.
great show love my ruger american and my hornady ammo
Imagine puting that today on air 😂 too many brainless people woild cause cataclism
Ruger guys 26” RPR 7 prc please.
he sounds like mister Rogers
When my M 16 jammed out came the hairspray. 💁😂
aqua net
My go to hunting rifle is the Ruger Hawkeye hunter in 300 rcm that I purchased in 2009. Sorry that that round did not achieve the popularity it should have. But I have reloaded for over Fifty years and stocked up on 300 rcm brass.
Great tutorials!!!😊
Bro definitely was having ww2 flashbacks watching a guy with an m2 flamethrower light up a Japanese bunker 😭😭
When Solid Snake and Revolver Ocelot meet in a retirement home.
i have had good and bad ruger firearms but the worst one was the ruger sr762. i love my sr556 but the 308/ar10 version was total garbage. thing pierced primers almost every shot, sent it to ruger and they said they fixed it but nope still pierced primers so i pawned it.
My Grandad Rest his soul had that same Sign in his workshop the 1 with all the different bullet types and sizes he was a gunsmith for 50 years and used to reload his own shells he used to mostly do shotgun shells but this brings back memories
I miss reloading bullets,I could be making a fortune now
I used up my mom's hairspray using it on ants outside. And my brother's lighter. Made them both mad. It was worth it though.
Wow, I have been to Grand Island, NE about 5 or 6 times in the last 14 years, the most interesting thing I saw there was the Kool Aid Museum, I feel ripped off now.🤦♂
I love Ruger and Hornady. Killed my biggest whitetail with my dad's Ruger M77 built in 81. My first handgun was a Ruger SBH 10.5" 44. Traded it through a SBH 4 ⅝, then a SRH Alaskan 44, now a SBH 7 ½. Craig Boddington made me fall in love with the No. 1 and I love mine in .375 H&H. As for Hornady, my Service Rifle sees nothing but Hornady 75BTHPs and ELD-Ms.
hi, A great video. I wish you had spent time with accuracy questions. Barrel type vs - chambers- mathing the bullet/ cartridge to the chamber etc
This guy is way cooler than your grandpa
👍👍👍❤❤
I've had great success with CCI large rifle primers. The only hang fires I've ever had was with Remington. Also larger SD's. I refuse to buy them since the '90's
Good show, it would be interesting to tour the plant to see how a firearm is made from start to finish.
"Accuracy is my business, I make bullets!" Next time I go shopping, I'm going to remember those words when choosing ammo brands.🤔
One of the things to improve is to get on topic faster. The intro is enough to put me to sleep, so I miss the rest of the vid.
🗽 Happy 4th Everyone! 🥳
