How This Team Did The Impossible - Football Manager
Olympique Lyonnais are having a weird season. They started the season by being relegation candidates to now as of writing, being in 10th and reaching a cup final. It's a massive club with history of silverware and the nurturing of many talents, lots of star players made their name in Lyon.
In FM 24, I wanted to rebuild lyon properly. by building the team and tactics around Rayan Cherki, who was at one point seen as the most promising of them all. The challenge is to win the Champions League with Cherki as the centre piece BEFORE PSG wins the European cup themselves. We have to beat them to it.

The scheme, tactics, instructions are very good, I tried it in 4 matches and I like everything, the only thing is to select players who could play perfectly according to these instructions. For example, I came to use Bernardo Silva as a midfielder, and then as a winger, and I immediately understood why PEP did the same. He excels at creating chances either through distractions or with a superb pass. And with every game I experiment, if before I played 451 with fast wingers, now I realized that I need slightly different players and even under some slightly different instructions, for example, I have forward Kane and so far the indication of the post gives the desired result in FC24

i did this with 5-3-2 more everyone stays behind, one quick attacker goes wide in behind and crosses, the second do a volley lol, headers are way less acurate
