This Self Punishment
Registrace 14. 12. 2008
In the fall of 2005 Double D.& Grant reunited from their former band (Pyka) to create new project. The 2 of them recorded a self titled ep with covers and songs called simple lullaby and little bit of rummy. In the summer of 2007 Zeek came into the band to fill the low-end. In the fall of 2008 Tyler became the frontman. After rehearsing the group realized they needed to reach down within themselves to channel the energy & emotion needed to help songwriting evolve in order to craft a definitive punished sound. In Feb.2009 recording for Reality of Dreams began in 2 home studio's, Drop C studio's (drums & bass)& Mind-Raped studio's.(guitars & vocals). Double D.& Zeek engineered the album. The album released Nov,2009. After the album release Tyler decided to leave the band, a three piece band with Double D.singing. Absence of Human Activity was released. In July 2015 Mel left the band.. So, Grant & Don have begun another album called The End of ALL

Classic, melodic death metal personified 🤘🔥🤘 27 years later and it still sounds AMAZING 🤩
One of my favorite songs from the new album!
I really like the new album...I'm really happy that Broderick is with them now...such an amazing guitarist
🔥 🤘🏽
❤
Greatest gift of the night ❤
Great Video!! I'll be in their next concert in Austin, TX (5/24)
Awesome......
Killer!
This was my first concert, got there right as Behemoth went on stage. I’ve been looking for videos of it EVERYWHERE and finally found this! Thank you!
ONE OF THE BEST COVERS IVE EVER HEARD.THIS SONG TAKES ME BACK TO 6th GRADE. TRUE TO THE FEEL OF ~ACCEPT~ MASSIVE~ BALLS TO THE WALL GREAT JOB~ DON DAVIS & DAVE GUTHRIE
Thank you so much
Thank you for sharing your video and cover song. You did a very good job, I like it.Rock on!
I saw Slipknot on Stage 2 of ozzfest 2000/01 maybe, when it was still Starlake amplitheater. That place is my mecca, some of my best memories walk these sacred grounds, can't wait for all this covid crap to be over
I sat on the hill during that show...A buddy & I were in front during the sound check and we were talking to some guy off the side of the stage. Guy told us we might want to go to the hill cause he happen to notice us wearing sandals..Turn out the guy was Mick from slipknot...He gave us a demo tape which I still have
I've always had crazy mad respect for anyone that can play a bass and sing
It was a strange line up too.
I was there too. Only went for Gojira and it was wayyyy worth it. It was mind altering haha
I was so excited when I heard him say SPIT IT OUT
I was there and standing right next to you! i can tell becuse of the guy screaming "global warning" lamo
I fell right back down after jumping up. Old beat up Chuck shoes on dewey grass is not good.
The crowd look dead to me
Aizu Hakimi ...think a lot of people didn't know Gojira..most of the crowd you see is seating areas, so you can't mosh. I think this is the first time Gojira came to Pittsburgh...I've seen them before in Cleveland, way different show.
@@thisselfpunishment KeyBank is strict about moshing, especially in the pit. Wish they'd come to Stage AE again.
@@RandomCanEHdian I avoid mosh pits. not my thing, I'd rather head bang. I did see a couple small pits in the lawn but not like back in the day. I remember seeing White Zombie & Pantera..wish I had footage of that. It had rained that morning & remember Rob Zombie asking where all his grave digger where...next thing you know there were chunks of sod flying everywhere then Pantera came on & it was insane. the whole lawn had mosh pits everywhere.
I was there it was awesome
Hell yeah it was!
Was it very hot that day? I'm not trying to be funny, but it looks like the crowd is afraid to move too much, like they would burn up or something, lol... But if the temps were high I do understand.
OroraMonroe the crowd look dead to me 😒
OroraMonroe ...nah it was a beautiful day..think a lot of people maybe didn't know Gojira...Down in front is all seats so you really can't mosh. They were the only reason I went to this show...love Gojira. Thanks for watching
@@thisselfpunishment they for sure deserved a better reaction out of the crowd. I felt like they sounded out of it, which in an interview Joe stated "if the crowd is not into it then hes not into it and gets nervous." Still 10/10 will see again.
There was a pit, i was in it. Great pit, but there was only one. I had seats and went into lawn just to find one. Crowd was practically dead until volbeat came on, such a shame no pit for behemoth at all.
@@awesomeas2 I watched other videos from the the rest of the tour and behemoth and Gojira killed it. The crowds were super into it. I guess its just Pittsburgh. I hope Gojira headlines a tour soon.
Great Fuckin show!
Lamb of God! Wished they would of played longer..no wall of death!
Thanks, wanted the whole show but wanted to enjoy the show also..hard to believe last time seeing them live..Paul is a machine..did a killer job!
Great show!
First time seeing them live...they were brutal!
You did post Behemoth, hell yeah,I wasn't into these guys until I saw them here, they really impressed me
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾HELL YEA IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO POST ANTHRAX FROM BURGETTSTOWN,THET WHERE AWESOME,I WAS IN THE LAWN WHEN THEY CAME ON,HOLY SHIT THE PLACE WENT NUTS,THANKS FOR POSTING OTHER BANDS FROM BURGETTSTOWN,IM WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO POST BEHEMOTH,MY PHONE DIED BEFORE I GOT INSIDE AND I FORGOT MY CHARGER,THANKS AGAIN FOR THE POSTS 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm still recovering from this show
Wicked
Nice work. I was there. I think Paul did a respectable job as Dave's replacement. No doubt the most difficult job in metal.
BURGETTSTOWN! I SAW DUDE GET A BLOODY NOSE TO THIS WHEN THE PIT BROKE OUT IN THE LAWN,AWESOME SHOW!
Aaron Davis HELL YEAH. I WAS THERE MAN. THAT WAS A BADASS SHOWWWWW.
Cam Dero my phone died about two songs into behemoth,so I didn't get any pics or anything I'm really glad people posted it
Aaron Davis man I was only filming testament. Cuz most of the time I was either in the pit or on the lawn headbanging til I couldn't hold my head up. Kinda wish I woulda filmed more tho
I saw some pit justice at the end of this one. Epic!!!
Dennis SlipKnoT-Beck good. I saw that one guy legitimately stomping in the opposite direction of the pit and just punching people in the face.
They blew the roof off and then Slayer knocked the roof into space!
thank you for filming these, when i'm up from crowd surfing i get no footage. such a fun show!
Two of their best songs, that show was incredible, they never disappoint
Was up in the front on the left side! Great show!
