Jane Hissey, writer and illustrator of the 'Old Bear' books - this is the official channel for the original 'Old Bear Stories' TV series. Each ten-minute episode took about five weeks to film and Old Bear Stories won many awards including a BAFTA. Forty episodes were produced and seen in 90 different countries.

I am 31 and I still enjoy watching these. They are literally my childhood. My Mum recorded them from the telly when I was a kid and I watched them over and over. I wish I could get them all on a DVD for when I have kids. They're my favourite thing ever! I watch the xmas one with the dolls every year xx
