Seamless Integration of MacBook and iPad
This is showing a super cool feature with the apple ecosystem. If you have a Mac and an iPad, by default (without doing anything or setting anything up), your iPad will become controllable with your Mac's mouse and keyboard when the iPad is placed near the Mac. You just drag your mouse towards the iPad, and your Mac's mouse will instantly show up on the iPad. This also enables your Mac's keyboard to be used on the iPad when your cursor is on the iPad's display. You can also use the iPad as a secondary display for your Mac using Sidecar.

Thoughts on the m1 macbook air? Sry if it's a bit older but I really wanted to get one because of the airdrop feature but don't know if it's worth it or to spend more money to get the pro. I do some capcut stuff and obs recordings, but that's about it. Ty!
The M1 MacBook Air would be fine for your needs. It also has airdrop. I’d recommend getting it with 16gb of ram, however if you can’t, 8gb should be enough for your needs.

Hey, i recently got the ipad9th gen and thats my first apple product and a big dent to my wallet but I've realised it after using for few months that its one of the best purchases ive ever made. This feature looks cool to me but i doubt ill be able to see it on action since i dont have a mac but i do plan on buying it in near future about 4-5years from now because im really impressed. (Sorry English isnt my first language just wanted to get some thoughts out i dearly love my 9th gen :P)

how does it know that the ipad is on the left or right side of the laptop? or maybe even on the top of it?
By default it just assumes that it’s to the right. However, you can arrange it in display setting just like any other monitor.
PC and a touchscreen laptop can do the same thing, but it's game changing when Apple does it...
Because with this it's seamless and doesn't need a 20 page manual and hard labour to get it set up just for it to be unintuitive. Theres a reason why people buy multiple monitors rather than work on two devices.
You can also use the ipad as a monitor for you laptop! I was able to get triple display with my m1 macbook by doing this

Samsung devices have it too, although I don't know which is smoother (probably Apple's).
Fun Fact: The HD6135FB is actually where the 9120 cover design came from. It was in production at the same time as the 4120 alarms.

Don't put your laptop on the bed. Do you know why? will overheat. Generally, laptops are equipped with a cooling fan which is placed at the bottom. So, if you put your laptop on the bed, this can hinder the circulation of the fan. Over time, the laptop will heat up easily and quickly become damaged
Yeah, for a gaming laptop, it might be an issue. But for these Apple silicon MacBooks, it’s really not an issue. Most of the time the fans don’t even run because of how little power the CPU takes.
Funny enough I had my Mac and IPad next to each other then was confused where my Mac mouse cursor is. Didn’t realise they can do this

How do I make this work?
Make sure you have wifi and Bluetooth on both devices turned on, on the same iCloud account, and within Bluetooth range of eachother, then simply drag your Mac cursor over.

Yeah it does. That’s what sucks about it. You can always use it with a cable connected to your MacBook to keep the iPad charged and have a more stable connection.

Something fun about this feature is that if you have to use lockdown browser or some other tool that locks your computer down for test proctoring, it can still move to your iPad but then can’t be moved back until you end the test.
I wish the cursor design was persistent.
Yeah that’d be nice. But the iPad cursor is just different. It’s clear so that it doesn’t cover anything up on the iPad display.

Not seamless if it gets hung up on the bezel.
Seamless as in the 2 devices integrate perfectly. And it only does that when first connecting to ensure that you want to enable universal control. Once connected it doesn't do that.
