What year and model is it exactly? I have an npr hd and the manual calls for w-40 engine oil . You used 15w-40

But your 5 tools you showed were not high quality, more like average. Sure, they'll do the job just fine, but they are mid grade asian tools.

Hey john i just subscribed- but im hanging to see how YOU clean a DPF on a npr ! And like wat acid is needed Keep up the good work mate!

To clean the DPF you need to remove the filter and have a special machine to clean it out. I don’t remember if there was any acid involved to clean DPF. Also if you want to save some money and not have a shop remove it for. Remove it yourself and bring it to the Isuzu dealer or a shop that a DPF bake and clean machines. But warning!!! Depend on what kind of NPR motor you got because some of the DPF take a lot of work to remove.

Good on you John - professionally demonstrated, just the camera on your head was out ( just a bit) of err camera at 8.21-9.03 -9..02 , we cant see the sensor, but otherwise Its the best ive seen ! Thank you! And maybe mention synthetic oil is best for diesels ?

Great job, I learned alot, just replaced a 2011 N series that suffered from neglect with a used 2019 NPR HD, I want to make sure we take care of this one better. I'm not a mechanic but it always helps to know what should be done when I bring the truck in to be serviced, so thank you for taking the time to make this video, blessings.
