Best day trip from Bangalore - Manchanabale
Manchanabele Dam in Karnataka is a good place for a day trip from Bangalore, and it's a nice half-day trip. The dam is a peaceful environment with less traffic and offers many activities, including trekking, kayaking, and watching the sunset.
Activities: Trekking, Kayaking, and Watching the sunset.
Other things to see: Lake and reservoir and Water snakes.
Things to keep in mind:
The dam is closed to visitors, so you can only view the lake and reservoir from a distance.
The reservoir bed can be dangerous, with fault lines, large boulders, and deep slush.
