Hi Coolster Codes, love the video. I am an OMSCS student, and found your channel by researching the program and looking for advice. Glad to see you're a Microsoft employee, that is my dream company. How did you get an interview? I have been trying to get an interview at Microsoft for a while now but alas no dice. Is this your first engineering job out of college? Thanks for your channel! Your content is super interesting and enjoyable
Thanks for creating this video! I work at Microsoft too and I just requested this laptop and it's been hard to find unboxing videos for it. This is a perfect depiction of what I should expect to receive. Thanks again!
Good
How do you get the gerogia tech t-shirt? ..I am starting in fall 2024
Great job! What state/area are you from? It's very pretty there.
Squaaaaaddd
8000 USD? I thought it was around 6000
That’s what I ended up paying, but if you bunch your classes together more (always take 2 in Fall and Spring) then you end up paying less
good
The crossover we didn’t know we needed 🙌
Thanks for having me!
Was wondering when you two would collab! What a great video!
Awesome crossover video. Love both of your channels
You guys are coworkers😂
Bezels are too big because it's the surface laptop 6 not 7. People might've accidentally purchased the 6th gen instead of gen 7 if that's the case. Only surface laptop 7 has thin bezels.
hey rather than pandas, can you use polars? Thanks. I personally hate pandas
Since you got this recently, are you able to swap it out for one of the co-pilot plus versions??
it looks aesthetically cheap
Could you show any x86 app test?
What processor is this ?
There is a bit of a screen border (Bazels) on your new notebook (sarcasm)
2019 product in 2024 with slightly updated chip
Que gh kkk
Sempre cara rsrs
Bazels are too big 😮
Он тааак долго загружается!))))
Ты абсолютно прав, чувак!
Hello, can I pursue ms in cs online or offline in usa if I have undergrad degree in chemical engineering? Is it even possible to switch? I really f**Ed up by taking cmE but i really wanna switch now , i can do basic programming and still have one year left for my ug degree so i can learn any stuff which is needed.. Please guide me Thankyou
Yes! You most certainly can! I myself worked with a cmE undergrad student in one of my group projects, and he was doing great My best advice would be to do some kind of personal website or project you can talk about on your resume, maybe like a portfolio website about yourself, or passion project, it will help you get that programming experience and help you get in!
@@coolstercodes thanks man
Congrats! I believed we were in the same SDP class (Txter project is fun). I have 3 more classes to go and I am mostly concerned about the 6515 Algorithm class.
Good to hear from you Ty! Nice, you are almost done, yeah the algorithms class can be hard but I’ve heard from some people that it’s doable, I guess it just kind of depends 🤷🏻♂️ Either way you’ll do great! Good luck!!
Hi I am a PhD student in Statistics. I am pretty sure that I will be into data science industry, I was thinking whether doing OMSCS along with PhD (one course per semester) will add any values to my future employability. What do you think?
Wow, that is great! I think it would, especially the programming classes. Two of my favorites in Python were AI and Machine learning for stock trading If you’re also interested, I made a video about whether or not the OMSCS program as a whole is worth it, feel free to check it out czcams.com/video/xz299J0dAnI/video.html
I'm graduating this summer from OMSCS. I work full time and have been taking 1 course per semester. Depending on what you take, it can be a lot of work even if it's 1 course per semester but it is manageable if your phd commitment is equivalent to 8-to-5/5 days work schedule.
Great video!
Thanks for this you talked me out of ML and GA
Good
Very helpful. Thank you!
"1 deletion" 😂
This is in every software company, not just M$.
Thanks for another video. I’ve watched all your videos since becoming interested in the program last year. I studied some CS in undergrad about 8-10 years ago but never finished with a CS title, and nowadays I’m working as an automotive mechanic haha. Looking to finally finish what I started back then and change industries. Just passed my first class, KBAI, with a 97.3%. Now moving on to ML4T for the Summer. I appreciate your content!
That’s awesome, congratulations!!! 🙂
Are you using Mac while working for windows 😂. The terminal spit the truth😅😂
no but who has a room like that, that looks psycho. edit: like
a microsoft worker
Good
Hi, thanks for the information that you share about the program. I've already watched a lot from your channel. I'm considering applying for the program but the cost that apears at coursera website states $15.700 USD any idea why? (Maybe is a price increase or some additional fee?) Thanks in a advance for your feedback
Could be, the total I paid from 2021 to 2023 was ~$8,000 but maybe it’s gone up since then, although I don’t think the coursera cost is the same
This video has more info: Is Georgia Tech's Online Master's program worth it? #omscs czcams.com/video/xz299J0dAnI/video.html
I should say, he lived 2,324 years ago, not quite 3,000 but watch this is in 676 years and you’ll see!
Dude, what happened to your walls!?! Thanks for the good video :)
Haha they be gone, but now some are there
Homie, mathematicians have been writing algorithms for far longer than digital computers have existed, this is not new or surprising
But makes for a good clickbait
bruh
why does your comment have a "translate to english" button?
@@minus6025 because it's clearly french 🤣
What do you mean he wrote computer program? He clearly did not, I was kinda expecting a big reveal at the what he actually did. 🤔
he created a recursive algorithm to calculate the gcd
Bro even I can program in my mind ,compiling that shit is hard tho
Thank you
good
Any tips on getting accepted into the program?
I think the gimmick with Basic Problem C-12 is, from left to right, an increasing growth in the number of shaded-in pixels in the top row. Furthermore, the left column in each image stays the same. In A there's a single pixel at the top row to the right, B has it extend to the center, and C has another dark pixel at the left. DEF and GH seem to hold this relationship, too. So, since H has the top row extended all the way, the solution is the same as that one -- so, the answer is 8. (Also, interesting to see someone go with an affine approach instead of the DPR/IPR one, haha)
Haha yeah.. Affine was honestly tough for the last test cases 😂
Thank you for this review video:) Might take CN in Summer'24 now if I don't get into SDP
Solid takes.
