I play alot of solo because my potato of a laptop tries its best to imitate a nuclear power plant meltdown most of the time

Also I havent ever seen someone diserespect the people trying to push DRG to its limit and in fact having an extremly cracked team mate might be the only way to complete EDDs when you still have trash ocs(i got NTP, minelayer, leadspray, sixshooter, mortar, LSLS when i was already like silver on gunner and i mained him so it was tough on higher hazes espesially as I was less experineced and didnt take dash.

i personally really like going with the odd 31221 bosco build. it might seem weird at first, but it does make sense. i play scout on haz 5 with pheromone grenades, kite around until most of the wave is clumped together and throw the grenade. this leads into a very compact and unmoving mass of grunts that 2 rockets can cleanly kill. T3A is useless for me since i play scout. T3C is not very useful since 2 rockets WILL wipe the horde, so i stick with an extra revive just in case i fuck up severely. T4A makes the bugs run away when i WANT them to stay still. T4C is a very tempting choice, but that would remove the damage from the rockets so the strat wouldnt work. T4B doesnt really do much either, but its the one upgrade that doesnt screw me over. T5A helps ensure even the densest of waves gets wiped. T5B isnt really needed since by the time another swarm comes in you (typically) will already have both rockets recharged. T5C is amazing and is likely better than T5A... however: kaboom. this strat really helps conserve ammo by leaving few enemies standing, typically a pretorian or a very low hp guard. i probably should just find better ways to clear hordes, but i digress

As a noob it still feels completely unreal to me how different social player-behavior is in DRG. The worst insults are: " You`re not a real dwarf" and "Leaflover"!? THIS IS HILARIOUS!

If friendly would apply for area-dmg effects like radiation of the fatman-launcher I would definitely take it for one of my engi -loadouts. Nobody picks this ever I guess.

I DONT GIVE A SH1T I´m already thankfull for the overall gamedesign.- I´m thankfull for an outstanding n1 community And the free loads of cosmetics are realy the cherrys on top of it all. Complaining about exceptions just seems so ... ok its human but maybe don´t be human , be a dwarv! (Its a greybeard issue not only in deep rock, but in general. Millions of steam hate-reviews complaining about minor changes when playing 1000 < hours while payed 20/30 bugs, always makes me smile)

I spend so much time waiting for other dwarves to be ready for machine events, seasonal events, drilldozer activations and refuels, salvage phases, etc. that I can almost always mine all the gold in a cave _by myself_ without sacrificing any efficiency.

Quite interesting that what you thought would be a good way to increase the challenge in DRG at 16:50 is exactly what GSG did in S05 with Haz5+

I got em all and am now at like 550 completed missions. Tho i had times where i played A LOT and therefore wasn’t able to really get overclocks in, i now got a new setup w a good keyboard and a good mouse and man im in love w this game again, im now consistently playing for about 4 months and recently finished all oc’s on gunner, and when i did this weekly edd i got 2 blanks and was the happiest i’ve been in a long time. Gotta get em all, and you will too! Rock and Stone!

The brigter objects mod positions itself as accessibility mod. So if anything, it should make odjects and ores glow when there is a flare nearby, sopeople with wision problems can still notice them, yet other players can't abuse it to see everything across the map

Did you cut out the core stone fight at 1:11:00 because you zipline cheesed it? Haha I'd like to hear your thoughts on the corespawn tbh. To me they seem out of place difficulty-wise by drg standards. Too tanky/mobile, people seem to have a lot of trouble killing them so everyone I've seen just zipline cheeses them, which ruins the fun imo. Maybe a nerf is needed so people can actually fight them fairly rather than resorting to cheese tactics

Most people don't realize "my version of the game is of course the most fun for me" and "everyone should play it my way" are two logically contradictory statements. And some people can't cope with the fact that some people can't cope with something, which is a self proven statement. I don't even see a solution because there is no actual problem at all. Most of my friends don't even play haz 5 and I never even tried to invite them to a higher difficulty. But when I play with them I don't think neither of us enjoy the game any less.

My real issue with Haz 5+ is that the Hazard Bonus you get is minimal compared to the difficulty and increase in time for the mission.

All that kiting and only power attack reminds me of when physics got completely broken and could not interact with anything. When out of ammo, and needing to take an ammo from the resupply, the mouse had to be perfectly still on a pixel, the player had to also be perfectly still, so only the calm between clearing all the bugs and the next wave is there a few chances for holding E to take the ammo to completely fill up the progress bar. That failed way too much. If this glitch still exists, the only way into the drop pod is to walk from terrain onto the ramp and then from the ramp to the exit zone.

What happened to the lacerator at 14:25? Half health and then just disappeared?

the stalker is my new most hated enemy, not for the right reasons, but for the wrong reasons. I don't understand why it can't be stunned. I mean, that's the whole point of this enemy, to get rid of it before it hits you, but there are few weapons that can one-shot the stalker. This B can reposition 90% of the time. And it's not the player's fault that it's able to do that. It should be vulnerable to stuns and even if it says it's immune to electricity, be somewhat affected by it. Maybe it can't turn invisible while electrocuted, but it doesn't take damage from it and stays electrocuted longer than other bugs. Maybe also an AoE electro blast when electrocuted (even by IFGs) that damages bugs and players equally, maybe creates the same shield down effect when a player is in the AoE. But no, just a new B as an enemy.

Hipster is green it just has a different play style to normal m1000 if hipster has more mag size yeah this would have been a S-tier OC.

I can see why the average game time is around how long it takes to promote 1 dwarf, the overclock grind suddenly becomes very apparent. Its very likely you won't get what you want, maybe you'll get something cool for another class but thats gonna be a whole other grind to use depending what you got and you can't use those overclocks in a deep dive without grinding a promotion on that dwarf. Plus the whole potential of taking 18 weeks to get what you want. Personally I save scum the weapon drop from the forge, i feel like its a pretty fair point to choose an overclock for the work it takes.

I've not tried this but I want to ask if sweet tooth increases the amount of red sugar dropped if a dwarf running it mines sugar at full health... It's probably not true but my basis on this is seeing the icon for it appear despite being full health. Again, haven't tested, would like to ask though if anyone can confirm. Also I vaguely remember some sort of projectile giving health with vampirism. I think it may have been the patrol bot's rockets strangely. ... Let's be honest, iron will getting a badass song you like to play while you clutch through modded is personally, a huge plus to consider.

The only way I know to play with mods on Xbox is to have a person on PC play the Xbox version of the game usually through the xbox app for PC. Then they can invite a friend who is on the Xbox console to their game which is modded.
