haven't bought or even played a single ea sports game since they introduced ultimate team to their sports franchises.

I remember when people PRAISED EA for taking away features and started to only focus on online modes. I felt like I were the only one who liked an authentic hockey experience. I really hate the way some people don't think one more step ahead. It's like the NHL irl now starting having advertising on jerseys and helmets. Most people say it's fine "as long as it's only one ad". Then fast forward five years, ads could be everywhere one day.

Mike INGLEHART butchered this franchise... charging full price for roster updates..

My personal favourites are NHL 07 and NHL 08 on the 360, so much fun that you can just pick up and play anytime. I agree that the engine peaked when NHL 14 came out. I recently tried to play NHL 24 as it was available on Game Pass - very clunky and unnecessarily overcomplicated. Just didn't have the same appeal to me.

Man, you made me want to play NHL 14 so bad!! I am sick of absolutely reatrded AI defenders, absurd own goals, glitch golas, fckrs who just skate to the blue line, flicks it for insane redirection and score everytime...if NHL 25 is the same sht as this year, I will preferre playing 14 insted.. :D

You’re exactly right, it is a business at the end of the day. The fact is, they’re not going to change anything since they’re making so much money. We can’t look to EA to make good games in the years to come. Somebody else needs to step up. There needs to be competition on the market, that’s it.
