(x^2-y^2)^2=24^2 so (x^2)^2+(y^2)^2-2(x^2)*(y^2)=24^2 .We ADD to BOTH SIDES 4*x^2*y^2=(2xy)^2 and we get (x^2)^2+(y^2)^2+2*x^2*y^2=24^2+(2xy)^2 so (x^2+y^2)^2= 24^2+ (2*35)^2= 576+4900=5476=74^2 so x^2+y^2=+ -74 and x^2+y^2>0 so x^2+y^2=74 NUMB(1). We ADD +2xy to Both SiDES of(1) to create (x+y)^2 and we get (x^2+y^2)+2xy= 74+2*(35) so (x+y)^2=74+70=144=12^2 hence x+y= + -12 .

Well theres a simple explanation for this, 30 = 5 x 3 x 2 divide by 5 and you have 3x2 left, same for the other
