Alot of russian kit is overblown in how good it actually is. But fuck me the hind is probably one of the best pieces of hardware they ever came up with. The SA upgrade for these makes them monsters

The modern Russian kit is overblown. However, the old school Russian classics were designed with simplicity and reliability, while being as cheap as possible. AK is still being used, despite old age.

Probably too expensive. The 25mm is only good on armored vehicles. The rockets and side door machine guns are perfect for anti personnel.

@@Ltblitzful it's a Mi24V model so it has a 12.7mm Yak-B minigun mounted. Would actually be more economical to use instead of the 80mm
Crew resources would be limited in that area. They likely can't find a guy qualified to serve as a front seat gunner.
On second look, it looks like they've stuck the camera guy in the gunner's seat. So that answers the question 😂😂

I was wondering about the French Gunner, Fred's MAG looks mounted securely on the pintle and the Frenchy's MAG is recoiling way too much not mounted properly?

National militaries have a place and should absolutely exist, but in instances like this, contractors are the best for the job.
