As a operator for 28 yrs The very first JS-220 with the mighty izuzu 6 cylinder engine were the best , power speed Hydraulic response , balance traction were just fantastic finished off with a superb cab layout, three years of sheer efficiency performance and precision digging, putting other machines to shame ,,loading dump trucks in just over a minute ,👍 I will always rate this model at the very top , brilliant machine 👍

ahh, the six sticker. I used to work on them, they had commercial gear pumps, Cummins 220 engines ( big 6) and also Isuzu engines on their smaller models.

Beautiful work. I’ve pushed up swamps for large airport construction and it’s always a mess. Even the best operators sometimes find themselves in some cruddy situations. Love the 6 for swamp work though. She’s just the right combo of power and weight.

I drive one of these. They suck ass. Bouncing like a damn rubber ball 24 seven while you’re up in it. The AC works when it wants to. He had to constantly repair the AC. Yellow engine light Will poo up on the dashboard all the time for no reason at all. Even after four mechanics check it. I would highly suggest to just go with CAT 730 end dump. You have to think about the operator that’s operating the heap of shit hydrema, by afternoon they either have a really bad headache or a migraine. If your boss brings one onto the jobsite tell them to take that motherfucker back!
