15 Minute Game Show Reviews: Click
Hey there, fellow Tubers. It's time for a new episode of 15 Minute Game Show Reviews and the first one from my new domain that I loving call the "Nerd Nest". In this episode, I review the late 1990s Internet themed teen quizzer "Click" hosted by a young Ryan Seacrest. Confidentiality, it was created by the late, great Merv Griffin, who created "Wheel of Fortune", which Ryan will be hosting starting in September. So who's ready to logon into the "Information Superhighway"(remember that term)?

Hey there, fellow Tubers. I recently moved to a brand new home with my family, with a big basement for me to nerd out in. To celebrate, I bought a video capture card and I'm going to be making more Let's Play videos. My first will be of the 1999 N64 game NFL Blitz 2000. Basically it was like NBA Jam, but with football, supposedly the opposite of Madden. I'm not too good a sports games, but sure...
Trivial Pursuit- Persona Style

Haven't done one of these in awhile. It's another of my crappily made videos of anime characters playing a game show. Well, technically game characters, but they did get an anime spinoff. This time, it's the protagonists of Persona 3, 4 and 5 playing Trivial Pursuit, which is set to premiere on The CW with LeVar Burton this year. Now, this is basically my own idea of how I'd like the game to be...

Hey, everyone. It's been a month, but I'm back with a new video and it's another review of a classic game show. This time, it's the 1993 Family Channel version of Trivial Pursuit hosted by the legendary Wink Martindale, which includes both the Interactive Game and the more traditional classic game, as well as a look at the failed 1993 pilot for syndication. I chose this one because of the upcom...

Hey, everyone. I'm back with a new video and it's another review of a classic game show. This time, it's The Cross-Wits, a series where contestants teamed up with celebrities to solve crossword puzzles and saw two versions in the 1970s with veteran announcer Jack Clark as host and a revival in the mid 1980s with British(!) born host David Sparks.

Well, it took awhile, but I finally completed my long delayed second Let's Play-type video called MartYtram Plays. This time, I'll be playing is the 1994 Sega Genesis version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Since I didn't have a Genesis when I was a kid, I missed out on quite a few great games and as I find out, it plays much differently from the Super NES version, which I've already played. A...

Happy 2024, everyone! I know we're already a month into the New Year, but I've finished my newest video and it's a new game show review. This time, it's the 1988 version of "Wipeout" starring the late, great Peter Tomarken. Even though the show bombed in the US, it did do well overseas. Anyway, enjoy and look forward to more fun this year.

Ho ho ho. Here's my Christmas Present to all my followers. I really like the classic game. Only change I would have made was in the final round, the player picks the category, but it’s all toss-ups. Bonus round was nearly perfect. All of the interactive games were horrible especially the studio version of it. The contestants never said a word during those interactive games.

A sequel series to the original 1993 Trivial Pursuit game show has been ordered by The CW for the 2024-25 season with LeVar Burton of Reading Rainbow hosting the program. This is a sequel series and not a proper revival because it will use an entirely different format.

Great video, very informative. I would love to see some the pricing games listed like hurdles(because it’s a simple quickie game) come back. Barker’s Markers/ Make Your Mark, should comeback as Carey’s Checkmarks, with the same rules, but instead of a $500 increased that to $1,000 for inflation. I like the concept superball being a cash prize, and giving one ball for free and having the contestant earning the three other balls . This will save time, which was Super balls issue(too long to play). Poker game should comeback in a 7 card form, stights counting and would allow $1,000+ prizes to be played for. The card ranks: Seven of a kind (best hand would obviously be 9999999) Six of a kind(5555558) Five of a kind and two pair(8888844) Five a kind(2222278) Four of a kind(3333569) Full house(2255568) Straight(0123456) Three of kind (7776901) Three pair(5588001) Two pair( 6624997) One pair (9974210) High card (9013425) Of course contestants will still have the options passing their hand to the house Overall, great video

Good Stuff, I’ve had my idea of a revival. 1. Change the name to “Odd Ones Out” (You’ll see why) 2. The front game utilize eliminating the wrong answers which overtakes the right answers (a la Trivia Trap). Values can be $75 doubling for each answer knocked off, along the way, there would be 2 “75% Off” placed behind the answers. The contestant in control can use it to take $75 from a competitor and possibly disadvantage them, as originally, the 2 players with the highest amount of money move on. 3. Tie/Challenge Round is no different from the original (From that point of the show on, we’re searching for right answers like its predecessor) 4. Bonus Round will be separated into 3 Rounds called “Beat the Odds” (This round doesn’t determine if they’re coming back). The first board presented will have 6 options with 3 Correct. Then, 10 Options with 5 Correct. Finally, 12 Options with 6 Correct (Like the predecessor). To accommodate disable players, contestants won’t be running to and from the board but instead work a control panel which they lock in their answers with a lever next to them. Also with a clock system similar to The Price is Right’s “Time is Money” (The Money Clock system was also used in the Dutch version of Wipeout) 5. (Similar to Games of the 70’s) A Champion wins a new vehicle after winning 5 Main Games (5 Shows) (It’s a lot to read, but it’s a worthy successor in my opinion)
