Slight correction. You multiply 5 by 100%. If you multiply 5 by any number other than 1 (100% = 1), you are changing the answer. You got the correct answer by doing 2 incorrect steps (*100 and then adding the percentage symbol). My point may seem like minutia but the viewer needs to understand this.

How does someone verify his answer?

I sat the Oxford entrance exams when I was 17. Two maths papers, one physics paper and the general paper, all three hours. This question does seem rather easier and shorter than some of those I remember, but it is a bit different.

This trick does not work for non integer solutions. In fact there is another solution for x between 1 and 2. Let f(x) = 2^x, g(x) = x^32. Then, f(1)=2, g(1)=1 < f{1). f(2)=4, g(2)=2^32 > f(2). So there must be a value of x between 1 and 2 for f(x)=g(x).

this presentor always put x/100 for percent. for me - I usually turn to decimal - so 2.50/0.5 = 5 ( then *100 for percent ). but the interesting thing is since % above and below, just devide. get 5 ( then *100 for percent ). I found it interesting that both methods come out the same.

Either you know the definition of the factorial and then you know x(x-1)!=x! = 720 => x=6 Or yo don't know the definition of the factorial. This is not a math problem but a matter of math knowledge. This is definitely not a math olympiad problem. Videos like these should be banned for wasting people's time.

It is more conveniet to test if there obtained any G c m btween the given number and the product of the primes below or equal to nearest to square root of the given number ,wemay reject if the number be an even at first ex,the g c m between 71 and 3×5×7=105 be 1,therefore 71 is a primeone
