MalWood’s hydraulic clutch pedal kit converts your existing manual clutch pedal or Automatic pedals into a hydraulics system with an easy bolt in install. Our master cylinder is part of our pedal assembly with nothing to adjust bolt in and your ready to go. Unlike other complicated units with separate master cylinder install and location and cumbersome linkages, ours saves time, with no modifications or adjustments. If you have any questions after watching our tutorials just call our Tech line 642-954-0118

Does this work with an external hydraulic slave cylinder or will it only work with the internal type?
How much torque to tighten those bolts to? I have the pedal support out of the car and I hope to assemble it then install the pedal support. Waiting on new brake pedal bushings.
I got one of your gbody all in one pedal sets do you have a video of installing?
Year make model?
What’s the part number?
Can this be performed with the pedal assembly in the car?
Awesome
That’s AWESOME! Simple as can be !
So this will work for the slave on my magnum wheni get it?
Works with any slave cylinder or throw out bearing. Give us a call 641-954-0118
Thank you. Ordered last week installed today!@@MalwoodUSA
How to release?

Install on an Auto bracket would be awesome please
The installation is the same on both an original manual car or an auto conversion. You may have an elongated pedal pad on your auto brake pedal. You can order an additional rubber pedal pad and use the clutch pedal metal pad area as a template to cut down your elongated brake pad if you would like matching pedal pad style. Call us if you have any other questions. We are in Iowa.
@@MalwoodUSA Too slow! Already ordered your pedal system and extra pad ;) Very excited to install it
Thanks! Call us anytime ! @@polishedturdspeedshop 🏁🏁🏁
Has anyone done this with bracket installed ? Are both pedals exactly like stock when completed ?
Give our tech line a call if you like, we are happy to assist. We are in Iowa . 641-954-0118
I installed this kit in my 69 Z/28. The pedals look pretty much the same to me. It was a fairly easy installation; a nice cutting wheel (and some self-protection from sparks) does the trick. A saw-zall would also work but would recommend a small/short and new metal-cutting blade.
What is the pedal ratio on this setup?
It's about 6 to 1 on most our set ups. We match pedal ratio to the hydraulic ratio.
Will this work on Falcon? I know the Mustang pedal box is similar but it is different. Cheers.

Is a bench bleed needed at some point during this process (before it goes into the car) or do you recommend hooking everything up and then bleeding after it's installed in the car?
You do not have to bench bleed the Malwood Master cylinder. You may want to check the instructions on your bearing, some do require a bench bleed. We also recommend installing an additional line (pigtail) if your bearing has only one line. This will allow you to disconnect our line for further diagnosis if you run into any hiccups with bleeding. Here is a great video on bleeding a bearing. czcams.com/video/wgc7ApCMTGA/video.html
Can you still install a roller bearing pedal kit @malwoodusa?
Yes, lots of guys have used our kit with the "Scott Drake roller bearings". Give our tech line a call for more help 641-954-0118
I've been looking for something like this, the modern driveline one seems completely unnecessary and complex and the McCloud one seems finicky as well as having an odd ball master, I've searched youtube alot for a setup like this and they don't show up easily, it might help to sponsor a big youtuber to get your product out 94 to 04 mustangs need this type of love Does this come with a pedal return spring? Like the foxbody kit?
Hey Thanks! It uses the stock spring mechanism.
Cool part but good luck doing this without removing the bracket.
For what it's worth, the time it takes to remove the bracket is better spent covering up under the dash and yourself, and going with a good cutting wheel.
Will this work with t56 hydraulic setup ?
Yes, Our master is 3/4" bore & 1-3/8" stroke and will work with pretty much any hydraulic throw out bearing or slave cylinder.
Yes, our master is 3/4" bore 1-3/8 stroke and will work with most any bearing, trans or engine set up
I know that the parts are different from the 68 mustang, but this is a better install video…So is the final product to this the same as the 68, visually and how it physically works?
Yea we spent more time on the 64-66 video but the quality of the pedal kits are equally awesome!
Does this clutch pivot on the original shaft, or does it have a new pivot point?
You replace the clutch pedal shaft with the new Malwood shaft. You can check out our install for the 64-66 may help you see from another view or just give us a call. czcams.com/video/vYnAnXwVD-A/video.html
Did you cut down the brake pedal to match what the manual pedal would look like?
We used original brake pedal. We design our clutch pedal to match the original clutch pedal. We also send you a stock rubber pedal cover.
Does this work with the MustangSteve roller bearing conversion?
Yes it should work fine with that set up. Give us a call if you have any other questions our number is on our website www.malwoodusa.com
Do you have anything for 1968 Torino or will this interchange?
😀
Hey we have the Torino now. Give us a call
Yes we have the Torino !

We used this kit in a 65 and a 66 mustang tkx trans easy peasie we used it instead of the American power train devise way gooder! If using American power train kit We highly recommend using this instead of the one they recommend for classic mustangs you won’t be sorry
Thanks for the awesome feedback!!
That knock off brake pedal in the video is a hunk of junk that will annoy the hell out of the driver as it returns forward and the metal on metal contact clunks against the brake bracket/support.
We are using a stock bracket and Brake pedal in this video. We don't change the brake pedal at all. This is the stock brake pedal on a 64-66 mustang. Our clutch pedal kit is designed for mustang owners who want to keep that stock brake pedal and convert to a hydruaulic clutch pedal.
How can I add this to a previous auto car?
You just bolt in our clutch pedal. You will have to add a manual trans and bearing of course. Our kit takes care of the pedal and hydraulic master cylinder. Call us if you have more questions. Happy to help. six-41-777-0174
How do you bolt it in when there is no bushing for the auto cars, just a hole.
@@alexanderperez1380 I added the Scott Drake bushing kit then bolted it on. I did have to modify the Scott drake kit as it would not install due to the tolerances being to tight. That is on them not malwood, though.
@@rcadd1ct thank you for the information, I actually thought about doing the scott drake kit to make it work, glad it worked, any tips on to overcome thise tolerance issues?
@@alexanderperez1380 Did you ever figure out how to overcome the tolerances with the scott drake bearings/malwood hydraulic clutch shaft?! Any insight would be helpful! Currently doing this myself!

Just ordered mine. Very excited. The kit I got from American powertrain was absolute garbage
Hey bro did this set up work for u? My American Powertrain set up is horrible.
@@jesco6830 it worked awesome. The American powertrain angle was way off. This one requires you to grind a very small amount of metal off the brake pedal assembly that bolts to the firewall. I needed a longer hose than what was provided but I chose to mount the reservoir in a different location. Basically, get this over american powertrain and it'll solve all angle issues and make the clutch pedal way easier to drive with
@@MrMatttrow yes bro. I had to leave the car with the mechanic today. I couldn’t drive it. I stalled 100 times. He couldn’t drive it either. Clutch is undriveable. What car is urs in? Mine is a 72
@@jesco6830 yeah I had to have them upgrade my clutch kit because the clearances were all wrong. And then everything with the pedal was bad. It would have been better to use cable clutch but then I stumbled on malwood. Mines a 73. Good luck man.
@@MrMatttrow good to hear u had good luck with it . I’ll call them and order it on Monday. Is the clutch engagement nice and soft and full control over it?
only a clowndick that drives a prius would give a thumbs down
Sure now you come up with instructions after I put mine together all by my self with no pictures and one arm tied behind my back
Nice Scott ! :) We should have YOU do our next video! How did the install go for ya ? Sounds like you got it in with no trouble ! Would love to see some pics of your Vette !
