I really LOVE Annette's versions of Nightwish songs.

I'm old enough to know Nightwish from the first albums - and this song is their most impressive. Epic, profound, emotional, massive, tender, and existentialistic - an incredibly ambitious composition and their greatest work. And it fits Anettes voice and persona perfectly.

you can say what you want about Anette, I think all three singers are fantastic. She didn't want to be Tarja's copy so she made them her own impeccably. I just regret that there are not many official live recordings.

Im sorry im not trying to bully her but she can't sing the poet and the pendulum no hate im just saying she doesn't have the right vocal tone to sing the higher parts and she messes up some parts that have higher tones of vocal voice sorry but tarja is better 😢(NOT HATING Y'ALL PLS😢)

If you read her text she fired her self. Floor was only a temp singe but Annette got but hurt because the band wouldn't kiss her ass. To be honest I think floor rounds the band better than any of the others. Just looking at ticket sales shows a dramatic just. Tarja got to bamned big in her own mind. Thomas was in love with her so you can only think how much hell he went through to fire her. But I'm just an other fan with my own opinion. And we all know how opinions are like a holes. Just enjoy the awesome music.

My favorite NW vocalists: Anette and Marko. Their best phase was with Anette. Respect for Floor and Tarja, but Anette brought a new air to NW. After Anette's dismissal, despite having another good vocalist, nothing good was released. I recommend Anette's latest solo album to everyone. It's really incredible.

Gosto do estilo dela no Nightwish, estava revisitando alguns vídeos dela ao vivo e poxa, ela mandava muito bem. Quanto ao estilo dela, fez justamente o que o Thuomas queria na época, se afastou do lírico pra se distanciar do "antigo Nightwish" e trouxe algo mais pop, e deu certo, não por ser pop, mas pela sonoridade excelente. Na época a mudança foi um pouco brusca para os fãs antigos (de cara até eu levei tempo pra entender o que estava acontecendo), mas sem sombra de dúvidas Anette deixou um legado admirável, deveríamos ser gratos pela contribuição que ela deixou para o Night e para os fãs.

I like this band, but they seem to ignore each other with all three singers I will add.

This song was made for Annette... but Floor is impressive. Two incredible voices.

Besides the fact that Tuomas is the GOAT Annette has a beautiful voice, she obviously does not have the 'metal' singer presence to perform as Tarja or Floor but was a wonderful addition to Nightwish and their evolution.

anette's ability to scale her voice louder and louder is under rated, she is not only really good at singing fast she can really push it quite high and it adds so many more levels to the older music and its because of that i really like when she gets a shot at singing the older songs it adds such a different tone and style to it that sounds unique enough not to sound like its a copy, had the pleasure to see her twice live, sadly she was singing pre good quality audio and video cameras were widely availalbe so there isnt a ton of good live versions of her.

I honestly think this version is better than the one with Floor. Overall I'm not all that sweet to look through the objective fact that Floor has the best presence on stage for Nightwish. However, noone can prove me otherwise that Nightwish is always -1 without Tarja. Anette is cool, Floor is perfect, but Tarja is beyond this world.

She had a hell of a pair of boots to fill, but this is by far and away THE BEST live vocal performance of this song ive heard!

Anette actually does a great job here, you cant deny that, I prefer Floor personally, but this is pretty good.

I judged her harshly and unfairly because of Tarja’s impact on my life. I’m revisiting her era or Nightwish and learning to appreciate it for what it was, rather than what I wanted it to be. I wish I could apologize to her.

i'm sorry but that " onne dayYAYAYAYE" was when anette gets her place in nightwish as much as bailey in iron maiden when he sanf futureal/man on the edge.. don't discount the replacer...
