Holding down friendships with ADHD - Why Do We Find It So Hard?!?
Trying to unpick the sometimes bewildering topic of ADHD and friendship can be really tough. Problems with friendships for ADHDers are really common, and it's bloomin' hard navigating them sometimes. I've made this video for ADHDers and our neurotypical friends, so we can hopefully ease some of our guilt and normalise what it's like having friends and maintaining friendships with ADHD in the mix.

I found a guy that explains his daily life with ADHD. I found I highly relate but never have been diagnosed with anything. I scored 13, seems I am okay I guess. Im just trying to understand why I do the things I do when I know better.
I did`t notice the glasses before I read the first comment here. And I am having either 18 or 22 points..Can`t quite answer if it is often or very often on the four last questions..
I got 16 and never noticed his different shaped glassed but at the end when the list of questions appeared I noticed question 4 and 5 in the wrong order numerically and got so distracted by it, it took me 3 times to add up my score.
18
Those glasses 😶
I tried all substances. And it feels like cocaibe with the length of m3th
14 points …
This has made me exited to go on them, the chaos on a daily basis is reall
I scored a 10-12 I can’t decide on 2 questions if it’s rarely or sometimes coz it depends on how life is going.
Psychedelics definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it's just so hard to source out here
I’ve been researching on psychedelics and it’s benefits to individuals dealing with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and from my findings, they really work and I’ve been eager to get some for a while but its been difficult to get my hands on them.
The Trips I've been having really helped me a lot. I’m now able to meditate and I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well
I was having this constant, unbearable anxiety due to work stress. Not until I came across a very intelligent mycologist. He saved my life honestly
@@LucyFernandez628 I feel the same way too. I put too much on my plate and it definitely affects my stress and anxiety levels. I am also glad to be a part of this community.
@@Eddington451Does he deliver to various locations?
I scored 13...but now I'm more confused😢
Scored 23. Im 42, undiagnosed and everything is a struggle. 2 years it will take to get into a psych to diagnose me.

Scoring for q3 is confusing
I got 20 wtf
21, but after trying to watch this video for at least the fourth time, I skipped to the end and paused it instead... Already diagnosed 😝
I was so focused on the stud under your bottom lip and the square and round frames that I totally lost interest in what you were saying. Did you do this on purpose? lol
Hmmmm. 22 probably means something I guess
this is so incredibly well described - a subjective account and yet so valuable for all those affected and also experts. thank you very much i am very touched as an affected person and could not have described it better. unfortunately i was only diagnosed as an adult.
My Brain sounding like...- awesome and thank you so much! greetings peter
Your voice is soothing.
Shit i cant even focus whole video , i started this video in mobile and now im playing another video in laptop
6:25 the point no.4 ane no.5 are switched places, making the order 123546... Oh... i see what you did...
I'm so thankful that you provide context because a lot of the time these questions are difficult to answer because depending on context the answer will be different. A lot of the time I mask, so I would normally answer no, because I'm aware of how I feel and how it's wrong, but if I were to let it out, the answers would all be different. Tests normally don't do a good job of explaining that it's the urge that matters, not the action itself, and you made that clear here so thanks
I answered from sometimes to often, while it was on the second screen, busy designing and looking at website domain names.... eish, time to do it again xD
scored a 12, I get lots of people at work thinking I have adhd, but I'm pretty sure I don't... I just don't like my job and there for struggle to concentrate on it
i got 20 😓
Test negative...but it's enough I tested myself for social anxiety dissorder and it said higher anxiety.
15
I have high-functioning autism and did these questions without this video and scored above the threshold. And after watching this video I understood what those 6 questions actually mean. I basically misunderstood all of them and generalized them into something logically relatable. So thank you for making this! It made me understand myself a little better.
“What my life could have been like.” I think about that every day.
I am 100% sure Google will get 4 for the 4th question
Just wanted to let you know that your glasses have two different shapes. I think you've been swindled.
I was diagnosed with ADHD since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting ADHD. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my son recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with similar health challenges.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them
YES very sure of Dr.alishrooms. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
100% agree I used to have Psychosis and paranoid thoughts like "people thinking about me talking about me etc. Very odd behavior after getting off Adderall from 7-16. Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. The emotions that came out helped me understand behavior etc more. Wont ever need to do it again because I'm happy and contempt forever, but I wish more people did this to alter their perception of reality. Would help with healing much trauma
How do I reach out to him? Is he on insta
I'm pretty sure I'm Inattentive. I can sit still for hours. I don't fidget, but I will disassociate all day long.
Got 13, which makes sense since I have giftedness and some behaviours overlap with ADHD. Thanks for this video 😊
This video is 8 minutes long I ain't watching that
Can’t focus on what he’s saying because of the glasses 😂
Ok I'm 23 😮
Hey, you’re here because you want to know what’s it’s like to get on these meds to fix us. Get back and watch the video and stop reading the comments. You’re just reading experiences.
At the end there: Why were the questions our of order? Number five was above four and four was where five should've been X_X
The one reason I haven't been to an actual therapist or like a psychiatrist is 1. money and 2. i'll have that diagnosis for probably a long time, possibly for the rest of my life. In a world like this? With jobs interviews that will reject people based on medical history like depression, adhd, autism, etc. ? I'm not even sure if I want to talk to somebody anymore in fear of being diagnosed.
Very bad formulated questions tho... very easy to get biased.
I wrote never for Q6 and after hearing what should be considered, it immediately went to very often. Was diagnosed in 2021.
