    I‘ve obviously been sitting in the worst position the last couple of weeks (at now 32 weeks). Unfortunately my baby has an awkward position with its head putting anlogt of pressure on my right rib, just like my 2nd born who never turned before birth unfortunately. That‘s why I‘ve been leaning back a lot and it makes leaning forward even more uncomfortable. Any tips to get my baby out of this odd position (except the sleeping position and the exercises tobten breech babies)?

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 2 dny

      Hi there 😊, yes, we totally get why leaning forward is very uncomfortable in that case. 😬 Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to come up with good advice without palpating your belly. We can only tell you what has worked for us in the past: Our main strategy to turn breech babies are our breech baby turning exercises (czcams.com/video/e-kh6nxGkCk/video.html). But it seems that you know them already. The forward leaning position of that approach can often help the baby change position in situations when baby seems "stuck" in one and the same position. Once that is done, it is then (normally) easier to turn the baby. However, not every woman is allowed to do this exercise. And so, oftentimes, we have used birth ball exercises (czcams.com/video/X3sOObqZHrY/video.html) to help baby get out of the "stuck position" first before we then try to turn the baby. Again, it is difficult for us to say which approach could help in your situation. What we tell you here are just things that worked for SOME women (but certainly not for all of them). Maybe you have the chance to see a very experienced doula or midwife who could give you some tips that could help in your specific situation? We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

If wasn’t immediately, but I fed her and also gave her colicAid and then immediately she pooped. Thank you sooo much. My LO is 3 months old. However, the poop quantity was her usual, considering she didn’t poop for 5 days. Is that normal?

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 3 dny

      Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely feedback! We are happy to hear that our treatment helped your little one! 🥰 Regarding your question: please note that such young babies, particularly when being exclusively breastfed, can often go days without pooping although they are not necessarily constipated. An exception is of course, when there are medical issues that cause the problem. However, if your pediatrician was able to exclude medical problems, then this is normally not a reason to worry. Because of that, it is also possible that the "amount" may not look considerably more compared to what you usually observe. Another possibility is that the poop frequency increases. But this really depends on the baby... As always, if you believe your baby is unwell, please do talk with a pediatrician about it! Thank you! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 3 dny

      Hi there 😊, please note that babies often either engage very LATE in a pregnancy or AFTER labor has started. Even if a baby only engages after labor has started, it is normally not a problem as long as baby engages eventually... Therefore, we are always surprised to hear whenever a doctor tells anyone that they cannot have a normal delivery - just because baby is not engaged before labor has even started (unless there are medical reasons of course). Of course, we are not able to tell you what to do. This can only be done by a doctor. Therefore, we can only recommend that you get a second opinion by another OB. • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 3 dny

      Hi there 😊, sometimes, an anterior placenta CAN make it more difficult for the baby to turn. But in those cases, it also depends on many other factors, such as exact position of the baby, size of the baby etc. That said, what we can confirm is that we had many cases of pregnancies with an anterior placenta where our approach DID work... 😊 We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    So if baby is already head down should we AVOID the forward inverted hands on the floor position? I’m unclear on this and can never find the answer. I don’t want baby to flip into breach after doing this move since baby is currently head down position. But since baby is head down then will this move help it engage lower- so still good to do or no?

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 4 dny

      Hi there 😊, the forward leaning position is (normally) mostly done in two situations (no matter if baby is engaged or not): A) Baby is breech. B) Baby is in an otherwise not-so-optimal position (f.e. occiput posterior) In those cases, the position can provide baby with more room to move in a more favorable position. Moreover, if baby is already engaged - or almost engaged (just not in a good position) - then this position can help dis-engage the baby, so that baby can find a better position before re-engaging again. Therefore, we normally don't do this exercise if baby is head down and in a good position (particularly occiput anterior). BUT: it depends: for example, we have found that - if a baby does not engage for a long time even if baby is in a good position - doing this exercise for a while often seems to facilitate the engagement process. However, this is only a personal observation - we are not sure if other experts have made the same observation... In general though, our approach is normally this: if baby is head down and in a good position but mommy wants to help baby engage, then deep squats alone are (normally) the way to go... Of course, please always ask your doctor's approval first before you do any exercises! All exercises are potentially harmful (it really depends on your pregnancy case). Thank you! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 6 dny

      Hi there 😊, whether or not this is possible depends a bit on the specifics of your case. For example: baby's exact position, length of the cord etc. However: we can assure you that we came across many cases of pregnancies with a single loop around baby's neck. And they were all able to have a normal delivery. So, NORMALLY, this should not be a reason to worry. But please do talk with your doctor about the specifics of your case... Thank you! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    I'm 40+5 today.. at my dating scan, they said bubbas due date should be 5 days later but kept it as the original earlier date. So today is the day they have said it looked like. Not feeling much yet. I know his head was half way engaged 3 days ago but no contractions yet. I'm stressed about the hospital pushing interventions

      Hi there 😘, unfortunately, it is a situation that many women find themselves in... It is so difficult to make a "good" decision in such a situation. And the pressure and stress does not help either... Have you tried things like birth ball exercises: czcams.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/video.html ? We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

      @CareAboutLittleOnes I'm definitely feeling the pressure and stress. I'm stuck in a mental game of 'am i being selfish and harming baby by wanting my birth to be a certain way or does baby need this extra time and I need to just let him decide?'.. its hard. I took a moment to talk to my bubba today and got so emotional.. I want to give him the best chance and do what is right by him cause I definitely didn't get that from my mother. It's a lot mentally. I have been using a birth ball and went for a walk yesterday. Doing a lot of breathing today and trying to calm my mind with hypnobirthing meditation. I think I am holding onto a lot of anxiety surrounding this birth. I just want what's best for my baby

      @@bethanyeadessfxmakeup8828 I can see how much you struggle with that decision! But listen: whatever your decision, never ever tell yourself that you were a bad mom for making it! Whether or not you will be a good mom is not related to that one decision. Being a good mom is a journey. It's about being there for your little one whenever he needs you and giving him the love he deserves. Along that journey, some of your decisions will be "bad", some will be good. You are only human! You are allowed to make mistakes too. Besides, we cannot know the future outcome of our decisions.... We are sure you will be a great mom - whatever you decision you make now... ❤

      Hi there 😊, please note that - as pointed out in all of our disclaimers - we are no doctors! And even if we were, please understand that we are in no position to tell you, if your baby is head down or not. Only an ultrasound can tell you that for sure... That said: if you feel baby's kicks at the top of your belly (mostly under your ribs), then chances are, baby DID turn! 😁 But again, that needs to be confirmed by a doctor.... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    I’ve always had a supper inner belly button 😄 I don’t know when it’s supposed to pop, as my baby is facing my back, I’m 26 weeks and my belly button is still nowhere near popping lol

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 9 dny

      Hi there 😊, 26 weeks is a bit too early for that! 😊 This normally happens at a much later stage (33+ weeks). And yes, sometimes, it does not happen at all even when a baby is occiput anterior! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    I am 32 weeks and 4 days and a first time mom , a piece of yellow mucus came out yesterday at my ultrasound and today a white chunk about the size of a nickel or maybe even a quarter size I spoke with the doctor they said as long as no blood I should be okay my fear is that my baby will come way earlier than 37 weeks - they also said it can come out gradually my question is how do I know when it’s all out and if I’m about to start the process of labor I’m super scared !

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes Před 9 dny

      Hi there 😊, we can assure you that we have come across several women who lost their mucus plug quite early in their pregnancy - but did not go into labor before it was their time... The body keeps producing mucus all the time. However, it is still good that you pay attention to what is going on in your body! The loss of the mucus plug CAN be a sign of preterm labor. But normally, that's only the case if it also comes with other signs of preterm labor. For example, abdominal pain, severe back ache, dilation etc. There is a video on our channel about the signs of preterm labor (just use the search function on our channel). So, if you only see that your mucus plug comes out gradually, there is normally not a reason to worry! It's more about checking if there are also other signs that come together with the loss of the mucus plug... As always: if you see any further signs (or if pieces of the mucus plug are bloody), or if you are still afraid that you could go into labor because of things that you feel/see, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your OB or midwife - thank you! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

      Hi there 😘, actually, week 34 to week 36 is the best time to try these exercises! But as always, please do get the approval of your doctor first because not every woman is allowed to do them! Thank you! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
