For part 5 in my exploration of 100 Danish sights, i went out to find the 6 Forgotten Giants, the original Thomas Dambo trolls. i cycled 56km and was so pleased that i managed to find all of them without the help of Google Maps, just using the original treasure hunt map. i got the poster of 100 Danish Sights from www.beenposter.dk/ - they also make one for Europe, and one for the whole world.

This song by @nardi4613 is in toki pona, a constructed language containing about 130 words. This song contains about 60 of them. Since toki pona has so few words, meaning is subjective. Trump seems to know as much about crypto as many of the crypto bros I see on twitter đ
What is the best strategy to enter crypto trading for someone with more or less than $5,000 to invest?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. I'm guided by a widely known crypto consultant
Stephanie Aaron Trentham.
This is correct, Stephanie strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional.
Yes, I agree with you. Her platform is wonderful and her strategies are exceptional.

You exitement is infectious, thank you for this video!
Bangin video Aimee! Appreciate your honesty while praising the installations. I'm delighted with my new local Sydhavn stations. Havneholmen is so bold I'm surprised they were allowed to do it because it's basically anti-design in a space that, functionally, is so much about design, streamlined wayfaring, not confusing anyone etc... it's a brave contradiction! My favourite, though, may be Mozarts Plads just because of the atmosphere created in the station cave, it speaks to me somehow. And the transfomation done up on street level is really positive. The public square is welcoming to hang out at, and there's wildflower beds and a water fountain: +1 to wildlife diversity!
@@pindebraende all of it is so good. i absolutely love it!

Nice video Aimee :) I wish we could all speak a common language here in Scandinavia - I actually had the same idea as you had by picking the words and spelling we have in common. But it is kinda cheating since Denmark affected Norwegian so much. But maybe we should seek back to our origin of the words and maybe the words will be more alike this way ? :D

Art in public places just lightens up everything - regardless of style or theme. It's sort of the epitome of "culture" IMHO. We need much more of it all over Denmark and the world. Very nice video - funny that it takes a "foreigner" to show this to a Dane, living 30 minutes south of Copenhagen.
Weirdly, Québec French has a similar word for fried egg: Oeuf miroir.
@@troelspeterroland6998 oh wow, that is interesting, and weird! why was everyone frying their eggs on mirrors?!

I live outside of Central Copenhagen and don't know anyone who lives in that part of the city, so I don't presently have much reason to use the M4 line's southern branch, but your excellent video makes me wish to go there soon just for the experience.

I've seen the first two. I love a good art project enjoyed by both kids and adults. And how cool is that he's spreading it across the World, but every individual Troll is still unique. Just so good. Once you're done with all 100 Danish sights, maybe it's time to go Troll hunting for all the others?
aha yes, that could be a good idea! đ
I have to be a little boring here, I prefer the old stations because the wall treatments are mat it feels calming and look more exclusive where as the shiny materials look cheap and outdated like something from 1960 , I do however like the art work all of them actually, but I would have loved for the walls to be better materials and that could have been done in colors also
What delightful art! The trolls have very good characterisations and are instantly likeable. This was such a cool 15 minutes aimee, thank you. I enjoyed the exploration element, and I'm glad you managed to do it only with the map, that was commendable. It was a sort of Luddite geohash, wasn't it? :) Oh, and perhaps Denmark's mountains are not as impressive as Scotland's, but I'm pretty sure they are far less tiring!
@@macronencer youâre right, they are very likeable. Little Tilde is my favourite, she is so cute! aw, i miss proper mountains.
so cool aimee, and such a beautiful summer day! i was surprised when you said you had already cycled 25km! how long did it take you to find all of them?

Sheeps has never been a thing in Denmark, so I doubt it has anything to do with sheeps.
You're kind of leaving out Icelandic and Faroese!
good point! i could definitely do something with those too!
I was on a training schooner crew when I was 16, and was sent up the shrouds to trim the squaresails during a night crossing of the North Sea in a force 9 gale (we had safety harnesses, of course, but you can't clip those onto anything much until you're on the yard arm). It remains one of the most visceral experiences of my life. What floors me is how small these Viking ships were, and how exposed to the elements! The thought of crossing the North Sea, even in one of the larger ones, is terrifying. I've been to the Viking Festival in York, but sailing in one of the boats is a fantastic bonus :) I'd love to try it!
@@macronencer yes it was nice and tame out in the fjord where all we had to worry about was a bit of rain. i still canât imagine how the vikings crossed the North Sea in ships like these, with all the wind and waves. a trip to England took 3-4 days. sailing to Greenland took 3-4 weeks!
Havneholmen is astonishing! Like walking into an Escher world. This sort of civic art project is so important, and I wish it were more common in the UK. Walking around a city and seeing constant reminders that people can do beautiful work like this is undoubtedly good for the soul.
@@macronencer it reminds me of Escher too! iâll go back again when all the signs are working and see if i can get some dramatic angles for maximum confusion! i completely agree with you on the importance of public art.
Finally catching up! This was a good one :) I like the helical ramp, and the planetarium was interesting too. The view was marvellous - I can see how someone could easily fall in love with Copenhagen!
ooohhh âhelicalâ - is that the proper term?! yeah itâs a beautiful city. thereâs a couple of other towers iâll go up in copenhagen, both of which were seen from the Round Tower đ„°
@@aimeerivers Well, I'm nitpicking really... I mean most people say "spiral", but strictly it isn't a spiral unless the radius changes with the angle :) Anyway, I look forward to more of your scrapbook adventures - this is a great series!
that's so cool! dublinia here in dublin also has some replicas of viking ships, but people can't go on the boat here and row/sail đ (1:52 this part reminded me of my soreen the other day)
Been to the one in Oslo a few times, but don't think we ever went in a boat đź
@@helgemartinsanchez6445 you should definitely do it if you get the chance. it gave me a much better appreciation of what it was like, and how difficult it is to get in sync with all the other people rowing!

When I first saw the video suggestion I thought "Is going to be abou Folkspraak? (a artificial language that germanic language speakers can understand). But it turned out it wasn't. I don't know why Scandinavia didn't standardized one common language for themselves, maybe to separate the kingdoms even more. Are you intending to make an arificial language or didi you do it just for fun? Have you tried this with anyone who speaks on of these languages?
@@pedrocosta2860 haha no it was just for a bit of fun. when iâve finished the Norwegian duolingo course i think iâll do Swedish, and then maybe iâll make Skandinavisk an actual thing!
i was going to say the first one is my favourite because i love astronomy, but the last one looks like something from the movie inception, so so cool!
@@RealityMixer heheh yes it is truly fantastic! đ
Back when the original "work from home" meant that you were working on your farm/land, the main meal of the day would be at mid day. During the industrialization when people moved to cities to work during the day this meal got pushed to the evening but the name stuck for some reason.

@@Mark_Hafer thank you so much for those wonderful compliments, appreciated!
My favorite by far Enghave Brygge â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž Love the integration of the art in the function of the station. Much of the art in the other stations feels performative, unnecesarily complicated.
