Loved the video with mike mitchell.
Hey thanks, that was a fun day.
Where you live is great, modern machinery, I really like it, thank you and always welcome it, follow your videos
Mike Mitchel's video has led me to your videos (he seems quite interested in these Horsch sprayers BTW | For him, the Horsch sprayers seem to check a lot of the boxes). This Horsch sprayer has the capacity of a pull-type, with the "all season" use of high clearance sprayers (row crop folks). Very interesting..... Thanks for sharing the video!
@@Yeti573 hey no prob. Thanks for watching.
Hello! Awesome sprayer!
how many times can i say 150 feet in 15 minutes 😆
I think few more times. Like and subscribe .
Hey mike! Looking at the corner screen it looks like the sprayers suspension height is at the bottom? Is it possible to change the ”preset” height of the sprayer when in field mode and im going in a part thats very steep so it lowers down? :)
@@JesperW132 ya there is a button on the right hand console that drops the hydraulic lift down. This does not adjust the suspension, just the hydraulic lift. If you have the lift installed, there is a side hill option that adjusts all the lift cylinders via a gyro to level the machine out in hills.
@@mikewasylyniuk244 ooh thats prob it then, we dont have the side hill option on either then, the buttons are there but dont do anything haha, cheers for the reply man!
Is there a way to make it consider what has been sprayed outside the boundary? What i have trouble with is say doing the boundary but shifting to do the fence or ditch a bit so say spraying 5 or so acres outside my field. The monitor counts this and then to mix chem for the last bit I use the acres remaining but it runs out however much i applied out of bounds.
@@jacobotes8443 I don’t think the viper 4 will do this. Good idea.
Horsch getting any closer to having an improved dealer network in the US? I've asked them at farm shows and they all quit by the time I call them again. Maybe they're growing so fast in Canada with the Leeb they don't want any extra in the US. Agrifac is trying round 2 with their new center in Nebraska. They aren't capable of sales let alone service. Companies don't realize they need to find people like you that know the product inside out and care about it and want to teach and also remain in the job for more than 2 weeks.
@@stirv6462 hey. Things are moving along down in the states. Good things take time.
so whats the lowest L/HA you can go on the newer Leeb sprayers? we are looking to change out or system but looking for something where we wont go above 60/65L
How fast do you want to drive?
@@mikewasylyniuk244 around 10-15 koh is fine, out here in the north eu things dont go as fast 😅
@@tbaforlife for that low speed and low water rate you should go with Raven hawkeye2. Horsch calls it precision spray and Offers it from factory.

Get you get the 460 into the leeb 6 and 7 also ?
Yes
@@mikewasylyniuk244 another question can you get the new vt in North America? Smaller units
@@THEgenXFARMER yes. What do you like better about the vt? What option does it have that you need?
Trying to figure out if we need them here or not.
@@mikewasylyniuk244 would be more competitive to American sprayers I think , would need more horse power though Demo a agrifac last year power wasn’t good at all ( condor v 1300)
That boom looks pretty slow yikes thats a plow
Thank you for presenting at our annual HORSCH LEEB Clinic! You rocked it and we SUPER appreciate this video!
I don't think any of the variable height machines like horsch, fendt, agrifac have the ability to suck up their cylinders. They can only float down. It would be nice to raise the machine up, put stands under the whole machine and then lower the machine which would raise all wheels off the ground at once.
All those rear tires on the tiger, are they pneumatic or solid foam filled? Seems like on a crowned gravel road if you were dumb and drove down the center, half your machine weight would be on the hitch and the other half on two tiny tires?
Air
Is the Tiger with the discs up front the only kind of Tiger sold in North America? Over in Europe, it's just a variety of the Tiger model line.
Not all of the Euro products are sold in Canada. Thanks for watching!
what's the seed depth range on the avatar?
Half inch to ??? The max depth I have heard someone running is 2 inch. It might go deeper. It will depend on your dirt.
Hey Mike. I work at cabin construction and i hope you like our work so far
Hey! Thank you for the great work! Excited to get our hands on the new cab in North America.
Let us know when you get dealer in Iowa , we just got a new Horsch planter. Swartzrock @ Charles City.
Hey Alan! Congrats on the new planter. You will love it. Sprayer dealers are located in Wisconsin and Indiana so far. Growing slowly down in the states. Focusing on parts and service before signing up all the dealers down there.
Can you do more about it
Ya I will have more videos in the spring.
Nice
Been there too. I see much potential for that "spreader".

Thanks for a great video. Didn't have the opportunity to go there this year. Therefore, I appreciate this even more!!
Excellent videos, thanks for sharing with us
No prob. Would like to see more of them running in Brazil!
We already have more than 40 machines in Brazil and this number is growing very quickly, 💪@@mikewasylyniuk244
That is amazing how well it does in that bad of hills. Take a hagie on those and the boom would be 40ft in the air or in the dirt. Air shut offs on this one making that noise or what is that?
Hey thanks. The sound is the air pressure relief when the nozzles switch over as you change speeds. The computer is picking the right tip or combination of tips as you speed up or slow down.
Just bought a Horsch sprayer here in France but didn’t know it could compensate turn… I thought it was only available with pwm. It would be awesome on a 147 feet boom 😅 I ll give a call to my dealer on Monday 😊
Congrats on the new sprayer. You will love it.
I’m the same, didn’t know you could turn compensate on this nozzle body set up, is it possible to retro fit to the sprayer?
Does that 8" of hub width stick out much past the edge of the tire/rim? That can be bad in tall corn but it doesnt really look like it sticks out much.
It sticks out. We install smooth dishes over the rim to protect the hub and and the corn.
Great video mike, could you maybe do a video sometime where you discuss and give your opinion about the precisionspray PWM system vs the autoselect sysyem. Why or when would you prefer the one over the other ? Thank you for your great content!
Hey great idea. I will get on that project this fall.
Ability to change droplet to multiple sizes via a single button on tiered boom is brilliant.
I was pretty impressed with the fendt boom control all year until getting to canopied soybeans. Then it turned into absolute complete garbage. This is very impressive.
Thanks!
If you're not used to the Horsch boom control that's scary to see.
Ya. It takes some getting used to.
Lol does this come with?
I dont understand how Peter can quit and not even have the brain or courtesy to pass my info onto the next guy. Probably wouldnt be worth owning one around here. Nobody has the drive to sell them let alone fix them.
I wonder who i could talk to in Iowa about a Leeb now? I was talking with Peter Ovrebo and he mustve quit. The second in command at the power show in Boone was a big guy with a beard but i dont even know his name. He was probably better to talk to than Peter. I wanted to line up a demo but now im lost. I bought a 937H and said i need to get a horsch if im disappointed in it. I dont know if i'd even have a dealer.
Closest Dealers are in Indiana and Wisconsin right now. Growing slowly in the states to make sure customer support and parts availability is done correctly. How’s the 937 running? Ok?
@@mikewasylyniuk244 I'm row crops corn and soybeans. It drives terrible compared to my Hagie. Very all over the place, dog tracks terrible on sidehills. Very imprecise to drive and feels like a tank, very poorly balanced. Enormous hood makes it impossible to follow curves compared to a hagie, horsch, agrifac. You get lost so fast because all you see is hood and it's 4 rows over from where you want your wheels. Boom stability is pretty good. Not like my agrifac was but it's OK. 3 top Germans from horsch visited my farm and talked about what we needed. I was impressed by them but maybe I should wait for dealer support. Seems like everything is better in Canada.
@@stirv6462 thanks for the feedback. I would never buy any sprayer of any colour if I didn’t have dealer support. It’s just as important as the machine.
@@mikewasylyniuk244 thanks for talking to me, I appreciate it. Yes I bought that Agrifac in 2019 and it was the worst nightmare you can imagine without support. I wish the Horsch line could be magically taken on by John Deere dealers nationwide.
Please , stop the camera shake.

Dilute the solution to complete the field? What kind of garbage advice is that
Not sure if you would know this, but does horsch plan on making big drills? We have 2 of the small 60ft ones but they just can’t cover ground like a 100ft bourgault with 1300 BU cart. Obviously the small drills have their place because you can put small tractors on them, but we like big drills
100 ft and 1300 bu is huge. Maybe someday🤷♂️
A tip for changing measurements with “H” knob is to pulse Knob left and right for coarse adjustments, rotate for fine measurement adjustments.
I don’t no if it was the way the sun hit that first tank but it looked like it had a decent size dent on the side
Maybe? Need to pop it out I guess? The techs are pretty good at catching all that stuff during pre delivery inspection. Hasn’t been done yet on this one.
That's neat to see how they ship them from over seas. I figured they would come in a can, I just didn't know how much thought they put into making reassembly easy for the guys on the other end.
