... as an update, I have ceramic window tint on my '23 F150. Direct sun can barely be felt coming in my truck glass.

@@BanginGearsGarage 1975 was the last year before catalytic converters came out and all cars were real dogs due to all the pollution controls on them. When cats were installed a lot of the other controls were removed and horsepower started going up again.

@@BanginGearsGarage Just looked it up. A 1975 Corvette had a whopping 165hp in the base engine. My six cylinder pickup truck, also a Chevy has 311 hp. Engines have come a long way since then.
1975 was the first year of converter, 74 was last year of non catalytic converter

I had a 70 Grand Prix with a 400 and a TurboHydroMatic 400. Dear God, that thing would MOVE!!! And a buddy of mine had a 79 Trans Am - I thought the Grand Prix was fast - that T/A SCARED me..... Everyone goes nuts over a Nova or Chevelle SS or a Camero - nah. Gimme a Trans Am. (Only car I like the styling of better is a 64 1/2 to 67 Mustang notchback..)
Both were very nice cars, but I'll be honest and say I've always been a TA guy. I still want one and never had one.

@@BanginGearsGarage That's the thing, I've only ever seen them in black. This color is refreshing. My older brother's buddy bought one, they were like 20 and I was like 15. They almost got killed in the thing cuz it was so powerful. I rode in it once and almost pissed myself.
