Northwest Clarinet Choir

The Northwest Clarinet Choir is a Seattle-area community-based organization dedicated to our love of music and the art of clarinet playing, particularly music for large clarinet ensembles. The group is directed by William Blayney.

Although I believe the beginning was much too fast, this is still one of my favorite pieces of music to play and listen to.
getting more into it, it sounds like this piece was sight read the day before the concert. It sounds unplanned, and everyone seems unprepared. I wish it was given more thought.

Beautiful blend and balance! Unfortunately the pulse gets lost in the richness of sound. If the rhythm was strong it would be an incredibly fine performance.
