The video would be more helpful if you disclosed where it is. Bamboo will freeze of course, so presumably you are in southern Florida or possibly Hawaii or southern California. Viewers should know that for bamboo to be used in construction it must be cured and treated to resist termites as well as fungal infestations, mold and rot. In construction it cannot com in contact with the ground or it will rot, so poles must be set in concrete footings or the like. So, fencing is impractical. Your bamboo actually looks a bit like guadua, (guadua angustifolia) a type of Giant bamboo used for construction and grown chiefly in Colombia, although plantations are sprouting up in the Philippines, Indonesia and Africa. It is used in construction for low-cost housing as well as for resorts. Guadua is a thorny species of bamboo, however, and yours shows no thorns. You can see more about guadua and bamboo construction simply by googling it.

My first seed-grown crystallinum x clarinervum? have beautiful reddish new leaves, glittery shiny white veins and velvety leaves the size of my hand in 18 months. A few made lovely gifts for friends. Im so excited to see how big the leaves get. 😂 An exercise in patience, but i do enjoy growing from seed, very satisfying. Just got a baby veitchii, very exciting, and some dark leaved crosses. Such great videos! I live in Phoenix so even hotter. Think my best bet is to germinate banskia and grevillias which have a better chance to survive our brutal summers. Saw a Australian article where they use cotton balls/fiber but I like the paper towel method. Liked your custom potting mix and tip about the hot water to sterilize, skipping the whole seed starter mix. A local grower near you uses Liquid Smoke which you can get at a local grocery store and also mentioned on Australian sites. 1 to 10 ratio with water. Grevilleas are more difficult to geminate than banksias, would you use the same exact process? Comments by Australians or anyone on grevilleas on having success would be great.

@@growproteas1148 So the setup was not a problem? I currently am running some current version Ultegra's, but they are a bit tight when I try an install 30mm tires on the front wheel. So looking at these since they can handle up to a 32mm. For $400, I don't want to have to spend 5 hours trying to make them work because they had 3mm of additional cable.
