Community Conversation events series
Hosted by the ReGenesis Institute, this in-person series of Community Conversations will provide local community leaders, and state and local government officials, information on how federal funding opportunities created by the Biden Administration’s Justice40 Initiative, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) can improve lives and livelihoods. These events in communities across the country will highlight how federal investments can be used to clean up former industrial sites and use them to develop local businesses, community solar, job training programs, and other projects that create local jobs, improve public health, and tackle climate change and environmental injustice.

I don’t think this is necessarily true. The reports were done only on a few companies. I want to know what the affects are on small businesses and mom n pop shops. What’s funny is the mega corporations don’t pay anything at all because they register the corporations in tax free counties. Apple, Amazon, etc

Let's address students' attendance and parents' attitude towards education. As a minority, I grew up in poverty, however, I managed to attend graduate school more than once. I was self-driven to make something out of myself. Unlike developing nations, America has unlimited opportunities to better oneself. Some Americans feel they are entitled to better things without exerting effort. Save the drama and excuses.

**Very important*** An article "debunking the guns make us safer myth" The article was written with the wrong reasons in mind. The main "what guns make us safer from" isn't addressed at all. And it is the most important issue. Ensuring the citizens of the U.S. never have to fight to get their voting rights back. By making it as impossible as it can be to take them. So difficult that the attempt is never made "hopefully". THAT'S WHAT THE 2ND AMENDMENT IS ABOUT, not guns. The inspiration to write the 2nd Amendment came from all the free speech societies before ours that failed. They all basically failed the same way, citizens gave up their ability to fight back, and then their "say so" in government was taken (right to vote). Sadly because of human behavior through out history, the only way a free society can continue to be free, is if the citizens can ALWAYS WIN a war against their own military and law enforcement. If citizens right to vote is taken, it will be a law, and when they gather to get their voting rights back, they will be up against, their own law enforcement and eventually their own military . Just like those free societies before ours that failed. The idea of the 2nd amendment is, citizens are to have armaments equal to that of the military and law enforcement. These are the simple facts; We have free speech in the U.S. because of one thing only, we have "say so" in government "the right to vote". (If we can't vote, we can't hold on to free speech). We have and keep our voting rights because of one thing only, the citizens having and keeping what has been wrongfully call "assault weapons". We already messed up as it is, how easy do you think it would be for the U.S. military to win a war against the citizens of the U.S.? with that in mind, THAT'S HOW EASY IT IS RIGHT NOW, FOR ANYONE IN THE WORLD TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY. We are not immune to it, it's happening right now in many countries. ALL OF THE ABOVE IS NOT OF MY OPINION, IT IS FROM PUBLIC TRUTHS, FACTS THAT ARE SHARED BY ALL U.S. CITIZENS,

Reproductive health is what he’s for. What is the meaning of reproduction? : the act or process of reproducing. specifically: the process by which plants and animals give rise to offspring and which fundamentally consists of the segregation of a portion of the parental body by a sexual or an asexual process and its subsequent growth and differentiation into a new individual.

Just looking at this 6 mos after "broadcast" in connection with @PBSNewsHour recent report on this same issue. Forms that require SNAP applicants to answer the same question three times in English, namely: "What is your preferred language?" are a waste of time and make the applicant feel stressed. A cover sheet that requires the applicant to "sign and date" at the bottom of the form, which they often do not do, is silly and results in people providing new info such as landlords' contact information, having CSRs tell them, "Sorry, but we cannot find you in our software system" which is terrifying and totally the state agencie's fault. Who signs and dates a 25-page letter or email, on the bottom of the initial screen or paper page? No one. Asinine. Requiring the recipient who already qualifies for and has had benefits they still need, to give the same info again and again instead of forcing the agency to look it up (however they do that in their internal system), and only demanding NEW UPDATED information, saves time, money and stress on both clients and recipients. Among other SNAP state agencies that have been sued and have settlements which should help force the agency to do what USDA requires it to do, are CT and DC.
