The Wildlife Trusts
We are working for an environment rich in wildlife for everyone. With more than 900,000 members, we are the largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK’s habitats and species, whether they be in the countryside, in cities or at sea.
More than 150,000 of our members belong to our junior branch, Wildlife Watch.
There are 46 local Wildlife Trusts across the whole of the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney.
We manage around 2,600 nature reserves covering more than 90,000 hectares; we stand up for wildlife; we inspire people about the natural world and we foster sustainable living.

When will there be a release date for the new stop motion wind in the willows 2019 film

the Tory Party got a great record pumping sewage into our rivers and seas allowing the mass cull of badgers with no proof that the badgers are causing T.B. my vote no chance
As an outsider to this subject, I felt the discussion lacked any numerical context. Where were the numbers? How great is the level of finance? Compared to what? What is the purpose of the finance? What is the trend in the finance over time, looking to the past and the future?
income stream & there's nothing wrong with that 💙
Climate change is caused by the cycles of the sun. Humans make negligible difference. Scientist's are delusional if they think we can actually prevent climate change. All we can do is adapt. Pollution is another subject. It should be controlled, not taxed. Net Zero is idiotic. Why ruin everything we have achieved for just a token gesture.
So great to see the passion, energy, creativity and community for change
That's not a debate.
That is what the comments are for. 😃
There’s not a lot of good people in the world. Good ole black people though. They always shine through for me. When everything in the worlds gets me down black people pull me out of it with their shenanigans. To be honest, I look at their women and wonder how anyone could hate them. You gotta be doggone animal.
The beavers dont give a damn, round here, but we are trying to incentivise them, with various initiatives, like free office space, + publicity, like events such as this, etc
why no D+D signer?
1:17:28 There’s me! In the black t shirt
Bull crap
?
Really?🤦♀️ ...WAKE UP!... this is your last chance, educate yourself then...
Well done for organising this debate. Just wish it was given television airtime.
If all participants are climate alarmists. Why the hell is this called a debate?
Loved seeing what St Mary’s looks like and especially loved the tombs. They are so beautifully preserved and atmospheric. No I need to find out how many on the islands….
The liberal media and politicians use natural climate change for sensationalism fear-mongering for votes. No legitimate climate scientists are crying emergency or crisis at all. Listen up gen Z you've been lied to and brainwashed. It's a scam.. focusing so much time and resources on It does nothing but hinder flourishing of the less fortunate and puts money in the pockets of many elite and politicians.
DO NOT vote for anyone who is not willing to shutdown all fossil burning in their term.. Do not vote for anyone who is not talking about climate change, 6th mass extinction and other environmental issues daily and who are not really going to make these things better in their coming term. Within next parliament term, we are reaching above 1,5C and setting pace for 2C (14-16 years). We have to take out the main culprit, so: Stop burning fossil fuels. Today.
Won't make any difference to climate change.
@@toomanyradsin2019 It does. Because politicians who are willing to suhtdown fossil burning, are likely do so when elected. And when that happens the emissions and warming begins to slow down.
The sun is responsible for approximately 99% of climate change. Humans less than 1%. Do you really think we could make a difference. It's a natural cause. The sun has been controlling the planet's climate since it was formed. Believe what you want.
We need to step the climate change protests to build many more wind power farms and solar panels. We have to continue with disconnecting nuclear, coal, natural gas power plants!😊
Won't make any difference to climate change
Who will stop the needless badger cull?
What about the Rivers & Waterways, and all the pollution they are allowing the Water Companies to get away.
Precisely
What a conn from the Conservative. In her first 30 seconds she commits suicide. In the last 13 years the Cons have done Sweet FA for the environment. which covers Nature & Climate Change. In fact they have gone against both Nature & CC. She lies.
Won't make any difference to climate change.
37/40
I only got 22 points. Very disappointed. I didn't get any of the trees in the film/tv round because I don't watch films and very little tv.
22 - expert round was my downfall - 0 points
We just caught up and got 24 1/2, thank you! XXxxx

Lovely vid! Recently stung by small black jellyfish in south wales uk, milder than a stinging nettle, but anyone know what it might be ? Looks like the 'blue fire' species.
I have a Belfast sink but its not very deep. Wonder if i could still make a pond?
Unless you're keeping fish, should be plenty deep - important thing is to get all those different depths with gravel/rocks etc.
@@HarryisI thank you. I might give it a go x
You need to be careful regarding cattle grazing as too many cattle can disturb the adders. I know a few sites in the New Forest where too many cattle have decimated adder populations.
5 years ago can't believe it!
Like a little ray of sunshine, thank you!
Oh they're amazing!
I agree, but sadly in my local area of Wellingborough and other parts of Northamptonshire they seem to want to cut down trees, build more roads and houses get rid of our green spaces. The opposite of what is needed and we need green spaces for our own peace of mind, not ugly looking buildings and destroy the views.
I absolutely love seeing these!
Why is this granny drawing her eyebrows on
Are the badgers spreading this through sexual transmission ti the cows? Or God forbid, vice versa?
Mr toad as a red blank
please, please, please make this film with those voices too.
Great that Tom is experimenting with the use of commercially raised lacewing. That must have been very expensive per hectare and probably not economically viable. The use of Metrahizium for the control of aphids would be a more viable option. It can be applied by seed treatment to provide Systemic Acquired Resistance. Seed treatment should be followed by a prophylatic weekly foliar spray of Metarhizium with an augmentative release of aphid parasitoids as soon as aphids are seen. Metarhizium is a naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus that is killed by UV light. It is not ecotoxicolgically damaging. Not harmful to bees. Cheap to produce. Can be tank mixed with chemical fungicides. It can be sprayed with normal equipment. Sugar beet just needs to be free of virus laden aphids for 14 weeks.
🎉ru😊t😢😢g😮😅🎉😂❤
We must be careful with our choice of language as "since records began” or “on record” are merely climate conditions over a tiny period in our planet’s history. Like most people however and the clue is in my handle/name I am of the belief we have reached a tipping point and each individual person has to act responsibly and respectfully towards our limited resources moving forward. David Attenborough has already made reference to the need to build a further two more Mother Earths to even sustain us now, which is crazy stuff. Best wishes, Tony.
awesome mice but bruh not even one minute, upload it all here on yt!
Very cute little mice.
Love them!
Wow, what an amazing group
Stay true to the original story please. I don’t like this
